So as some of you may know, I have had issues with my heart for the last few years and have just this past week been told that I'm being checked for possible heart failure. Now I won't know until end of this week what the results are, but damn was it scary to be told something like this and makes you really think about things.
My point being that we have seen a fair amount of silly arguments and some good posters leave the site because of this! Don't get me wrong we all have our own opinions on things whether right or wrong but let's not forget why we all found this site. Our love of the famous! So can we just all try and get along since we want the same thing and if we disagree with people's posts just scroll on by.
So I'll take this opportunity to apologise to anybody I might of upset recently as I have had a shorter fuse than normal.
Anyways I'll see the usual suspects on live tomorrow and let's hope for a thumping win. WATP!

Jim mate think your alway come acorss as a decent bloke and always look forwrd to a bit of banter on the live. Scincerley hope all works out for you regarding the old ticker, cliche I know but they really can perform miracles these days.

Sad it can take a scare to make us think about things in a different manner, qe can all be guilty of saying things within thinking or not thinking about how others might take it.
Anyway I hope everything goes well and a little word of wisdom when we win tomorrow don't be doing cartwheels in the front garden get the heart better and save the big movements for when we win the league this year ?.

I got told I've got heart failure about 8 years ago bigbluejim I'm on all sorts of pills for it. Your right, it's scary when you are told but hopefully the pills keep doing their job.

My dad was diagnosed with the same a few years back big blue, just take it easy and follow orders given and you will get into a routine, he's not running marathons but it's never stopped him doing what he wants to do, all the best.

Big blue, hope all goes well for you, they can and do work miracles,
I've survived multiple cardiac arrests in last ten years, have a pacemaker and recently had a major bypass
Imo it important to be positive and where possible exercise as much as drs allow.
I'm just back playing nine holes and do 10 k five days a week, I prey all works for u, take care god bless.

My pacemaker was fitted in my 40s Jim, remember whatever they do it is nearly always for the better. Believe me, I'm very positive with my lot, soon be back to 18 holes, my bypass surgery only just over four months,
At 76 I've had an extra 30+ years since first cardiac arrest
