Like most of us today no one seen this coming, would never have even thought it.
Hear me out guys, we all had a big pile on earlier today, yes it was jovial and lots of laughs, now this if as said is a 70 odd year old guy who may use this as a comfort blanket to keep sane, where do we stand, and that thought prompts this post, I don't know for definite if it's one and the same, Ed will or won't confirm that.
What drove him to this? is it a cry for comfort or a mental break, yes if as it happened is true, he can own it and move on, I'd encourage Florida Bear to continue posting, quite a few of us enjoyed his posts prior to today, it's baffling me as he was a good poster, also guilt at being part of the pile on.
Most of us struggle at some point and many speak of their struggles on here to what I consider friends, we generally have no idea how someone may be struggling day to day. Has this driven it?
I don't pretend to know the reasons, jealousy, validation, acceptance, lashing out in anger, I've no idea, but there for the grace of God.
I may be 100% off base here as u all know I'm a big stirrer n like a laugh, either way something isn't sitting right, can't explain it tbh.
I may be totally wrong here.
But what if I'm right, and all isn't as it seems.
Just a few thoughts guys.

Everyone makes daft mistakes, I enjoy practically every post, hope it's just a silly VPN confusion, but even if not, sh1t happens, either way am not bothered at all, just hope as u say Fork, the fella is OK.

I don't think Ed's call out things like this unless it's extremely fishy to say the least. But agree, would be a shame to lose a regular poster but if he's been commenting on one account and backing himself up on the other, really needs to admit it and we'll move on.

In the big scheme of things who actually cares about what's gone on, he didn't commit a murder or hang about in the brazen head, this is the t internet, no one knows what's going on behind closed doors, especially mine ha ha.

Fork good post. I didn't post on the thread and not saying that to be superior for that. It just didn't feel right to post as I had been so defending of Asa it seemed unfair to then pick on Florida if he was using an alter ego to post as well. I asked about my post appearing as if it was Swiss based as I thought it might be a VPN issue and explain the same IPN.
Florida and I had our disagreements but I bear no grudges. I hope that Florida can put this behind him and post again. he was obviously a Rangers supporter and that is good enough for me. In real life I have stayed away form things out of embarrassment but when you pluck up the 'courage' and go back it is never as bad as you fear.
However I didn't think about the reasoning behind it and if he is struggling then I would ask that he definitely posts and gets support from fellow fans. yes the odd one will bring it up I suppose as that is human nature but the majority of posters on here are decent guys and girls.
Florida come back on mate with a clean sheet from me for what that is worth in the grand scheme of things.

Its what i was alluding to in an earlier post. We font really know who is who on here. Identities are hidden. I try not to get too hung up on individuals and what info they bring to the party. Most of the time the info triggers me to go research a player, manager or business venture that the club may be interested in. As for identity, I think Asa could be Brian Laudrup and John could be John Fleck. Lol. The Point is no one really knows. What i would say is, this wee couple of chat rooms keep me sane, but also shares rumours and info i share with other pals. We're all equal in here, maybe even on the level?. Unless of course you're a smelly rat from the dark side. Not long now until we're back at Ibrox Troops, stand strong.

Very well said, thought out and written fork. Nobody knows the next man's struggle. I know how much this we site has helped me through some dark days, even right now it's helping me through a difficult period in my life. I'll probably never know your reasons florida, but always liked you as a poster, you'll get it tight for a couple of weeks then it'll blow over, what a boy ?.

And to be honest the tone of Copland posts to Florida do differ I think?
But either way there is no real harm done I don't think
Infact it might have been the opposite it brought a lot of folk back on posting so let's look at the positive from it
Florida Bear I hope your well and as have said your not one and the same as Copland if that is indeed true then carry on posting as normal you've always been a good poster and brought good intellectual conversation to the forum.
For the rest I can't explain but I'm happy and it looks like al it of other posters across the site are happy to laugh it off and carry on as normal mate.

It's a good post fork but how can you believe the guy is 70 when he has been found out like that? You can't mate.
But I agree when it comes to mental health etc… and he maybe alone I hope he is ok.
No one mentioned Asa mental health etc… when he was doing that to him. I believe in an eye for eye in this world.

As entertaining as it was, Florida was called out for lying, laughed at and shamed today, I have to admit I couldn't stop reading. The fact that he felt the need to back himself up with a second alter ego does make me wonder about his mental state of health.

Stig, not sure if you or any other posters spotted Eds comment.
There was actually 3 Copland posters.
CoplandFront5 and CF5 - who I understand to be the original poster who has two log ins as they forgot one.
However it's a Copland Front5 (with a space) that's appeared.
Just don't want the original Copland posting one day and receiving some confusing responses / allegations.
Ed - if I've picked that up wrong, feel free to delete.
{Ed033's Note - That's the way i see it at the moment.
All the IP data is different betweeen Copland Front5 and CoplandFront5.
Copland Front5 could come on and answer a couple of my questions if they insist they are CoplandFront5 to confirm the IP data.
