Lot being wrote about Balogun, lawrence, full new back line, 12 out and 12 in etc. We could also be losing the only 3 players that gets into their team, Cerney, Raskin and igamane.
Serious question can anyone think or know of any examples, where a club has changed 12 players in one window, that, that club has gone onto to have a successful season?
It's took SG at least four windows to get a squad together that was good enough to win the league.
Celtic will strengthen with their board now pulling in the same direction as Brenda's ambitions, by spending serious money on players and adding them to a well established team.
Hopefully, we get extremely lucky with all the new players hitting the ground running, same with new manager and if not are given time by our fans.
Most important in this window imho is building a set core right down the middle that are more often than not, always fit.
Massive task ahead guys.

Lawrence I could see getting minutes he's getting offered some sort of deal makes sense he's getting minutes and said to a mate recently I thought something might be in the pipeline and that's why he's been finding himself into the playing squad
Balagun again could see the big man getting a coaching role very good big defender and Woodson bring great experience to the young guys it's a no brainer really if true.

Don't know about replacing 12, but did Forest not get something like 20 odd players in, in one window last year or year before.

Suppose should also say Brenda spent well in last summer window and we have been able to get the upper hand on them when playing Against them
it's the smaller teams we need to start beating and the rest will take care of itself
56 is a real possibility next season I reckon for us ?.

Paul I think Advocaat only signed 3 players initially and a total of 13 players over a period 3 n half seasons. He also had unlimited funds as there was no FFP rules that move nearly killed our club.
He also inherited a good core in the team of which he added quality.

Lawrence played 12 minutes against Dundee and then was out for another half dozen games, which kind of sums him up. What is the point in extending the contract of a player that is rarely available especially with his high earnings . His contract is up so we must take the opportunity to get rid of him and save some money .

Picking up Kanchelskis as a rotation option, is a thing of the past. 49'rs enterprise aren't here to just spend money. They will want to make money. Strange concept for some .

Desmond's wealth is £2B and 49ers enterprises are worth just shy of £5B so more but neither are going to throw all that cash at it even if they were able to. At the moment Celtic can put more in as their turnover is higher and they can sell players for more. this isn't going to be decided on who can spend the most but on who spends more sensibly. challenge for titles first and then win is how it will work.

Lithium love your positivity, however i would temper your expectations. 49ers will not and cannot just re-invent the wheel, to spend more money they need to have the extra revenue coming in and even if say they generate another 10-15M in the first year they aren't going to just release 70% of that to the playing squad. as you said they are business men first and foremost.
whilst i am looking to exciting times ahead this will take time to implement. development plans, at minimum, are 3 years so patience will be needed.
