Stevie not surprised at all as every signing is never known that early. Always suspected it was just lazy thinking as he played for Hearts and McInnes managed them.
We do need squad players, but still say they need to be good enough to challenge for first team spot.
I think he is half decent, but don't see him doing that. So why have him in a squad?

Interesting. The manager's wording when discussing not looking at any in contract Hearts players made it sound a lot like we were looking at him. I guess if we were, he would have been a backup, so fair play to the guy if he's going somewhere that will give him more game time.
I think he's a good wee player, but maybe not good enough to make us a better team.

Some of the ITK posters have chosen to take a step back due to being ridiculed etc. I can't blame them, to be honest.
Many people on here just wait in the wings to throw things in their faces if/when it doesn't come to fruition.
Maybe we could just be grateful for the info they choose to share and understand that things can change quickly in football.
It's sad the amount of people on here that just want to haha and poo poo people when some info doesn't hit the mark.

As someone who has no ITK or sources close to the club, I have to say I'm super appreciative of the info we do get here. If anyone wonders why those sources don't post as much, maybe start looking a little closer to home.
I don't blame them for going quiet. They are under no obligation to share what they do know and we certainly aren't entitled to it.

People don't necessarily get things wrong, it may have been happening at that stage, but things develop, availability of other players emerges.
Devlin might have seen our activity and thought 'am I going to play enough', and changed his mind.
It's no surprise Devlin has maybe made a decision, and Fosso news breaks the same day.
Guys with news were maybe correct when they received that info and it's changed, that's it.

To be fair, lads, it makes for entertaining reading and starts discussions. I don't get any info on anything, and look forward to coming on here to read the posts no matter if they come to fruition or not.
It's always nice to go and look into players you've never heard of's stats, and watch their highlight reels, which of course makes them look like world beaters on YouTube.

I'd be surprised by this, as he was looking for more than Hearts were willing to offer, had plenty of offers that met his demands, and Hearts already signed his replacement.
As many have said, things can change fast in football.
Also, I think anyone who posts a rumour should be open to challenge, question and even ridicule. It's an open forum. If your ego is too fragile to take it, don't post.

Some take it too personal, but at the same time, some only come on to put others down. Never saw that much "done deal" re Devlin, mostly just it would make sense opinions based on being free option. I really like him, but am even happier with those we are linked with spending money on instead.

Not sure who you are aiming at, Gazza, but if it's me then I guess I have to explain my post to you ?. I am not ridiculing any of the ITK posters. If you take time to read my post, I am actually talking about the in flux we had of new "ITK" posters who were posting multiple times a day about sources and what not, telling them about numerous deals, info, transfers etc.
I was then stating how it is ironic how they have stopped posting. My point being, I don't believe them, because no one gets That amount of info, not a chance, yet they seemed to have managed it. And a lot of the posters weren't stating things as rumours either, it was coming across as facts. Hopefully that helps, if aimed at myself.

This page has literally become a page full of people complaining about others complaining about rumours, every day there's a post about it, and too many can't take some banter or their post to be challenged.
Sure, it's a rumours page, cool. But there's a load of folk just posting for the sake of it and looking for a pat on the back.
Lots of people don't even give names or anything, just saying "oh something is going to happen".
There are many good posters and some very interesting stuff, but recently it's hard work reading through it all with all the moaning.

Agree, Gazza, I do see a lot on here before the papers. I also see a good bit on social media before I see it on here, but that's frowned upon by a few who think it comes from here 1st.
The reality is, it's probably a mix of all 3. No one on here mentioned anything about the Sturm Graz midfielder yesterday.
Many said Ferguson was very close 2 weeks ago and it's still not been picked up by any legitimate journalist.
One said it wasn't close and he got shot down and ridiculed.
Even the worse fishermen catch fish if they throw enough casts out. I don't think anyone on here who is ITK has more knowledge than journalists close to the club and vice versa. Some on here will know stuff before those journalists and that's fine.
