Any info on what's happening with Penrice? Would have thought that would have been an announcement if it was being done as he's been in Scotland recently.
Or are we now looking elsewhere since DM come in?
With interest in Reynolds heating up that must mean we are looking to move Sterling on.
Do we rekon the chances of Moore coming back have sailed with change of manager? Look to bring in someone else to fight it out with young Curtis for LW.

We already have Gassama to fight it out with Curtis on LW.
30 Jun 2026 12:07:14
Gassama would lose the fight with a wet paper bag! Move him on and bring Mikey home.
30 Jun 2026 12:17:12
Just to agree figure for Penrice. McInnes wants him.

I loved Moore here, but I wouldn't be paying the money for him on loan again. Apparently it was about 3m last season for him. Play Curtis and let him develop. He'll get way more numbers than Moore. Spend the money elsewhere. That money could be used on Penrice.

Gassama is useless. Indicative of our poor history with the English Championship.
30 Jun 2026 13:28:44
Gassama is far from useless and will be much more suited to McInnes style of play.
30 Jun 2026 13:39:18
I hope you're right, Goram.
30 Jun 2026 13:49:11
Gassama is mince.
30 Jun 2026 13:50:46
Inconsistent and frustrating, yes, but to say useless is nonsense, scored some terrific goals and extremely difficult to mark. When he's flying and confident like early parts of the season, being played out his preferred position clearly effected him, to me, I can't understand that as a winger with his ability should play either flank with ease but looked far better on the left, attitude looked iffy at times but I don't think the management team done him any favours either last year.
30 Jun 2026 13:59:42
Goram you forget Gassama isn't Scottish so he's useless & terrible.
Curtis 20 years played 35 games, got 8 goals (4 in the last 5) & 3 assists, Gassama 22 years played 56 games, got 9 goals (most at the start) & 6 assists. Gassama played a third of that time out of position on the right & wasn't effective there as the stats will show compared to the left side. Both are young & will get better. Moore played 47 games, got 7 goals & 4 assists so belive it or not Gassama had a better season stat wise & once he stopped falling over he cause more trouble, should of had a couple of penalties from him that we never got too.
30 Jun 2026 14:19:44
He's got potential, Gassama. Not my favourite but he's not terrible. He will likely make us a healthy profit in all honesty.
30 Jun 2026 15:15:14
Djb, what do you mean by "Goram you forget Gassama isn't Scottish so he's useless & terrible?" As it's usually the exact opposite way that fans think. Be worth pointing out that Curtis played less than half the minutes Gassama played, 1642 to Gassama 3674.
Once Gassama learns to pass the ball, cross the ball, he'll be a player; until then he's all fur coat and no knickers, Curtis would be the better option at present imo.
30 Jun 2026 15:15:25
Aye straight back to Spurs.
30 Jun 2026 15:40:57
He didn't have a better season stat wise if you're only referring to goals and assists. More created lots more chances, so, because others don't finish them, his assists stats get affected. His successful dribbles per game were also far higher.
If we got a half decent fee for Gassama I'd happily sell him tbh.
30 Jun 2026 15:50:25
Take the money and go and get Dahl.
30 Jun 2026 16:00:52
Gassama, will be a very special player in the right set up and coaching, he is a modern day player, he knows how to play the position but often struggles with a few things, game time being one, the uneasy feeling often at Ibrox is another, many many players have suffered in front of the home crowd at Ibrox, it's an intimidating theatre and can get eerily silent and players that play on the periphery of the pitch can hear every criticism, every abusive dialogue and it can destroy them, I think this boy can still make it work here though, given the right coaching and confidence
30 Jun 2026 15:52:30
I would like to play Curtis but also feel that Gassama will get better this year in his first choice position. Scored a lot of his goals in Europe whereas all Curtis were against bottom 6 clubs. Not a criticism of Curtis, but to say we also need players to step up against top half of league.
So, whatever, Gassama had a better season goals and assists wise than both Moore and Curtis, yet fans don't like him.
30 Jun 2026 15:55:41
Aye, passed when he shouldn't, and didn't pass when he should've, ran up blind alleys n caught in possession, he can go learn elsewhere, will be a gd player, but isn't all that yet.
30 Jun 2026 16:07:08
Gassama is crap, I'd sell him for anything over £5m.
30 Jun 2026 16:11:32
Totally agree, Tomthumb05.
