Hi guy, first time poster here. Go easy please.
Was in the pub last night and got talking to a few guys about gers. And one of the guys was saying that his missus cleans Ibrox. She has told him that we are looking too loan get this ( ben ganonn-doak ) to me a loan deal would be great. But we sell nico and youssef £25+ for each we could possibly buy him.
Anyone else heard this?

A cleaner at Ibrox has inside knowledge of Rangers transfer business? I'm not convinced, mate. This club last year was pulling players out of nowhere that no one had mentioned in any rumour.
I think the same will play out this year. BGD would prefer the other side of the city, I think, if he was to go out on loan, but I think Marco Rose will want a good look at him in pre season.

Bgd definitely is a fan of the other mob. His family are known by my in-laws. We don't have any inside info, but can confirm he is one of them.

Why are people fixated on him being a Celtic fan? Look at Kenny Miller, played for both sides. Those days are long gone about what team you support. It's about the game you love and the club that pays your wages.

Dkt, I didn't know Ben Gannon-Doak was a Celtic boyhood fan. All I knew was he was in their youth teams, and you're correct, mate. If he was, it doesn't matter to me as long as he's prepared to come, and obviously he's a good player into the bargain. ?

Michael O'Halloran was a Celtic fan and would go to Parkhead to watch the games when he wasn't playing for Rangers. Antony Stokes was a Celtic fan, and he absolutely hated Rangers with a passion.
There are levels of bitterness and hatred to this. I don't want Celtic fans playing for Rangers, because you can never trust them to give everything.
I don't think Scott Allan gave Celtic everything, as he sat on their bench for 3 years, taking every penny they had, and he isn't even a bitter person.
Is Doak the type of Celtic fan that hates Rangers? Only people closer to him would know that.

Agree, RohlWithCheese, there's levels. Calvin Miller in the Stokes bracket. As you say, others can make the switch. One of my mates actually grew up a Rangers fan and signed for Celtic at 16 and was there for a good few years.

RohlWithCheese, there's been plenty who were fans of the other side & all gave 100%, Scott Allen was overrated & never did anything after Celtic (think he was injured during his time too). The ones that hate us will never sign for us & they'd be the ones who'd not put in the effort.
I think he'd be brilliant for us but Doak is a Lw & something we don't need unless Curtis or Gassama are leaving, we need a Rw or 2.

I'd assume that someone who works at the stadium in any capacity probably knows more than those of us who aren't ITK.
Also, why would it matter if he was a Celtic fan? Neil McCann was a Celtic fan. He's not anymore, I can assure you of that!
