Rumours that Sterling is injured AGAIN.

04 Feb 2026 17:51:59
That doesn't surprise me, the guy's a crock.

04 Feb 2026 17:52:24
No surprise there. He's a sicknote, and DD to boot. He should be binned!

04 Feb 2026 18:18:11
Sadly, I don't think there's any 'cure' for it. He's just prone to injuries, almost the exact opposite of Tav, who is almost never out of action. From memory, we knew this when we bought him and took the punt.

I think it's a risk we won't need to take any more, given the position we're putting ourselves in, thankfully. It's a shame for the guy, he's a good footballer, and I imagine it's not his fault in any way, just in him.

04 Feb 2026 18:37:58
It seems fans got an email saying he would be in Edmiston House before the game in the pre-match fan zone, along with other players, ex and current. His omission is reported as being precautionary, part of a deliberate minutes-management plan, rather than a fresh issue.

04 Feb 2026 18:45:58
Yeah, he's got to go in summer if fit enough for someone to buy him.

04 Feb 2026 18:47:02
Chermiti not on the bench either, hopefully very minor.

04 Feb 2026 18:56:07
Fernandez neither. We have a bigger squad now, so hopefully just rotation. Rommens and Naderi on bench, so a chance to see them on for some minutes, hopefully.

04 Feb 2026 18:58:13
I'd keep him next season and only play him v Celtic. Surely he can manage 4-6 games a season, lol.

04 Feb 2026 19:00:25
He's not injured, he's rightly having his minutes managed, or he will be injured and miss the run in, and the moaning would be, why was he not managed?

04 Feb 2026 19:15:59
I think we'll want Dujon fit to play right back against Motherwell next midweek, so we are taking no chances. A more attacking right back was needed for this game anyway.

04 Feb 2026 19:16:23
His minutes are being managed, but no surprise at the usual negative pile on. Jeez.

04 Feb 2026 21:45:54
Wsl, we need him to stop Maswanhise, as Tav and Arrons will struggle.

04 Feb 2026 22:14:59
I like Sterling, and I was correct to leave him out tonight and Sunday. Let him train, then in v Motherwell. But, going forward, hopefully the medical team can get to the bottom of his problems and fix it, as it is no good only being able to play 1 or 2 games in a row.

04 Feb 2026 22:50:46
Just imagine, guys, if Dujon Sterling had Tav's athleticism and injury record. ?

05 Feb 2026 00:20:11
Get a grip, sunshine. The guy's a Rangers player, wether u like it or no! Nae need for that patter. I doubt he likes being a "crock".

05 Feb 2026 00:38:53
SWS. Just imagine we could go back in time, as good a chance as happening, mate. ?

05 Feb 2026 08:11:01
Dujon was in the Thornton Suite last night, definitely not injured, game time being managed.

05 Feb 2026 08:52:42
Sterling is an important member of the squad. Managing his game/recovery time will enable him to contribute on a more regular basis.

I can't believe some of the comments from our own fans on here. Big Dujon is more than capable of nailing down the RB slot if his injury issues are appropriately managed.

05 Feb 2026 09:02:41
Think Big Phil said Dujon has an underlying illness that will always affect him, so wise to manage him, its a long season. I thought he looked a shadow of himself at weekend, so not sure if the car crash thing has rocked him a bit.

Either way, managing game time for all of them is a wise way to keep players ticking over in fitness levels and motivation. Another example of good management from Danny and his team.

05 Feb 2026 10:10:10
Ehl also said similar sometime ago, Baz. ?

05 Feb 2026 10:20:41
The day Sterling smashed his car up while intoxicated was the day he lost any respect from me.

05 Feb 2026 12:26:05
SOS, was it him that was talking about other players injuries and Antman wanting to leave? (Joking.)

05 Feb 2026 18:44:18
Are you saying EHL is Clement, Fork?
??

05 Feb 2026 18:54:21
Said before, good player, but just not reliable enough for what he's paid. We can bring someone else in.

Defo would look to move him on. Think guys like him are a distraction the manager doesn't need.

No problem with ability, but we've been over the course with Sterling, and I think we all know by now he's never going to stay fit.

05 Feb 2026 23:02:15
Ss, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

06 Feb 2026 10:00:59
In the immortal words of Scooby Doo, Baz, ? "Could be." ?
