Did anyone else pay attention to the Record Sport claiming Rangers interest in Thomas Muller?
If any truth in this what's everyone's opinion on it as a possible signing?
For me the guy is a leader, a winner, vastly experienced and still a massive draw even at the age of 36. I think he could help the young squad we have.
Again just my opinion, would love to hear others.!

Wages would be an issue his deal at whitecaps was 25k a week for half a season then he becomes a designated player for the new season where he will be earning 100k a week.

Steven Davis played 49 times when we won the league under gerrard, he was 35/36. He also played 33 times the following season at 36/37 ?♂️
Considering he was still playing for bayern and scoring last season, I reckon he's still got it. He won't be coming though, I can't see it anyway.

You do realise that in no way were the record even suggesting we were trying to sign him. It was literally someone who phoned in on the hotline that suggested it and they were just 'highlighting' that a fan had made this suggestion.

Can't see wages as an issue as he is friends with Rohl from Germany and Munich. Think this would be an outstanding bit of business. For me it would be the same scenario as Defoe when he came. I can see him coming and bringing on Chermiti.

Storm he's definitely not done mate still scoring for fun in MLS and left Bayern last season with 15 g/a. He's never ever coming here but he would be outstanding for us never relied on pace etc always just in the right place at the right time.

Superally, the guys made his money and would probably come if asked by our manager who is his friend. Defoe would have been out of our budget but he came.

Guys, this is muller we are on about a world class player, he would set Scottish football alight n would have the media attention and celebrity status like Gazza.
The tops we would sell alone would pay his wages and put Rangers on a platform like never before.
Guy is still a legend and still has it he's only 36. Couple a years in him yet I would love this. But I don't think sadly it would ever happen, but wow imagine it did.
