No delays in Skov Olsen deal just negotiations.
Rangers now negotiating directly with the players representatives.
Read into that what you will.
Not normally needed for a simple loan.
13 Jan 2026 11:32:54
Great to see us linked with players of this quality.
13 Jan 2026 11:40:39
Probably loan with obligation but hopefully it's a straight buy and possibly we have another loan lined up, Neil or Mundle maybe?
13 Jan 2026 11:45:58
Loan with obligation perhaps ?✍️?????⚪️???.
13 Jan 2026 11:46:23
Thanks for the info Aphelion ?.
13 Jan 2026 11:49:45
Does this imply that that the deal is more likely to be a loan with obligation?
13 Jan 2026 11:55:16
Good news Aph.
13 Jan 2026 11:57:33
Might be a straight purchase to show intent. leaves space for another loan elsewhere, maybe Mundle from Sunderland?
13 Jan 2026 12:02:45
I guess if there's an obligation to buy we need to know what his expectations will be now rather than have a headache in 6 months time.
13 Jan 2026 12:04:11
Maybe a look at long term?
13 Jan 2026 12:06:12
Sounds very promising, Aphe and that it could be a loan with an obligation. Hopefully, he signs soon.
Have you heard anymore about Hjarto-Dahl? I know that we were interested, but it looked like he had options in bigger leagues, but I see he hasn't signed for anyone yet. Are we still interested?
13 Jan 2026 12:17:27
Looks like it will be a good addition but if he has been injured how long will it take him to get up to speed? What details of his injuries do we have? He's not played a lot of football in the last 12 months.
13 Jan 2026 12:18:54
exciting news.
13 Jan 2026 12:24:06
Cheers asa. This is the one getting ma hairs standing on edge. What a signing this will be for our club n a true statement of intent! Hoping we get this one over the line rapid.
13 Jan 2026 12:28:48
Guys for an obligation we need to negotiate a contract for the player as he is basically signing but we pay the money later.
13 Jan 2026 12:29:46
I can't see us still wanting Mundle if we get Skov Olsen. We still need striker and possibly a centre back rather than signing two right wingers,
13 Jan 2026 12:30:49
Hearing the deal is off
Daily record : "Skgone".
13 Jan 2026 12:41:30
Der Hammer it looks like he will be going to Frankfurt but other huge clubs are attempting to sign him.
13 Jan 2026 12:47:32
Think that's gone now Hanmer, bigger teams in first him.
13 Jan 2026 12:56:34
Buzzing with this one, imo the best signing we will have made since coming back from the lower leagues.
13 Jan 2026 13:00:57
I really hope we have some kind of option in there. A player who, if he comes in immediately becomes one of if not the best in the country.
13 Jan 2026 13:03:13
rangers review now saying ASO agrees to move, negotiating with wolfsburg now.
13 Jan 2026 13:21:26
Good info as always Aphelion ? So do you think the skov olsen to Rangers deal is definitely a goer mate ?.
13 Jan 2026 13:34:06
Chris Jack contradicts record by saying deal nearly done.
13 Jan 2026 13:48:00
Thanks Aphe. I really liked the look of Dahl and he has the potential to have a great career. Norway certainly seems to be producing some very talented young players at the moment. I'm sure the club will have other irons in the fire.
13 Jan 2026 13:49:49
I know the OOC defender has agreed a deal for the summer but are we pushing that for the winter window? Looks like Aarons is going to head elsewhere as he is now 3rd choice right and left back with us.
13 Jan 2026 13:52:25
Sorry are we stupid. loan with obligation don't get me wrong i like skov but have we learned nothing from cortes deal.
13 Jan 2026 14:02:31
Yes SWS this one is very close. It's took Chris Jack to repeat it for it to be believed but oh well.
13 Jan 2026 14:05:43
Skov Olsen Is leagues above Cortes FR, get what you mean though obviously a massive risk there but he's proven at a higher level than us and I'd argue a better player than Cerny.
13 Jan 2026 14:18:16
Forever what would be the difference if we sign him now or sign him later if he flops he flops nothing we can do about that lol.
Not sure what a loan with obligation has to do with anything in relation to cortez.
13 Jan 2026 14:55:23
Forever a player can get injured at any time. Loan or permanent.
13 Jan 2026 15:12:14
Good stuff I am hope he gets back to his Brugge form.
13 Jan 2026 15:19:29
Unfortunately, I can't see the Dahl deal happening.
13 Jan 2026 16:11:40
Danish wingers do alright at our club be a welcome addition if it happens.
13 Jan 2026 16:38:44
Dado that's not my point of you seen my previous posts on skov lobe him as a player and absolutley buzzing for him to come to club its just a case of getting protection for the club if it doesn't work out.
I just have concern of finances having seen the previous running of our team by murray rich people do not play with their own money they always work with debt.
But i repeat buzzing to have skov at club.
13 Jan 2026 17:24:08
We can't judge all future obligations on Cortes!
So if a player who signed for us outright fails ( which they do ) Sandi we stop that process also?
Same commitment same potential issues.
13 Jan 2026 17:26:47
Not often I get you Forever but i am here, hopefully he turns out a great success.
13 Jan 2026 17:59:10
I see forevers point here, basically about trying to safeguard the club as best we can.
I do think personally tho that the Olson deal has far less more risk than Cortez, was it not like 7 million or something for a guy who got injured 3 times on loan, done practically hee haw before he come? Fair enough if it's a couple of million but that mist be one of our worst transfer dealings in a while, buy then loan straight away? Olson for me it's streets ahead of Cortez on paper and the park.
