Thelwell knows a player and apparently Davie Moyes does not, any club happy to drop £6m+ on a player should ring alarm bells, but let's wait and see .

Interview with Thelwell was very tame as you would expect from RTV. His statement that we have spent £20million NET needs explaining because we have taken in around £23 million in sales so what he is saying then is that we spent £43 million this window . If that's the case the fees in both directions must be way wrong or the 4 loan fees must be outrageously high.
More likely he doesn't know what net means.
I'm not really bothered about what he said about Martin he was never going to criticise him but I was worried about all the other things he admitted he had not got to look at yet.
I did explain though why we have let the Womans team down badly with lack of recruitment after losing 6 players in the summer.

I think Thelwells reference to Net spend is to the £20m investment by the new controlling interest to support his smoke and mirrors interview. This could then suggest we have net investment in the team of breakeven.
Truth is no one really knows and we don't find out for 18 months when the books to June 2026 are made visible in December 2026.
Either way he is just not very convincing is he?

We made 2 massive mistakes allowing Koppen to go and not going all in for Farioli, both would have brought us the success we need.
We made good money in 1 season by selling Jefte for 7 mill euros when he was only 800,000 Euros to buy.
And selling Igamane for 11.5 mill euros when he only cost 2.3 mill euros.
Koppen is widely regarded as one the best talent scouts in europe.
look at the soaring values of 3 of the players he advised PSV to buy.
Sangare - Paid 7 mill - worth 24 mill.
Bakayoko - Paid 25k - Worth 30 mill.
Simmons - Free transfer - worth 65mill.
he is responsible for a lot more than that in holland and belgium.
