The story has been that the new Leicester manager doesn't want him to go but if they sell him to Wrexham then that has obviously not been the reason he hasn't joined us. If he goes to Wrexham then at least we can forget about him and move on .

Deal not dead with Coady. Was put on back burner with Champions league qualifiers being the priority we haven't signed anyone since that deadline passed to play in these games.
£7.5m dunno where that is coming from his asking price is £2m we had hoped to have more players offloaded by now more than anything to free up wages.
Guaranteed group stage European football now confirmed I fully expect 2 or 3 more in during next week with Coady high on the agenda.
Was told we were close before new manager came in at Leicester and he wanted to have a look at him and try to change his mind making him Captain in 1st pre season hoping to sway him.
Coady has made it known he wants to leave to come to Glasgow.
Don't see why he would prefer Wrexham to Leicester either tbh in same division.

Fair enough mate, thought that was a bit high with only 12 months remaining on his contract and his age. Genuinely think we will get him. Only way he goes to Wrexham is if rumours are true and his Mrs won't relocate and he wants away from Leicester.
