Now the dust has settled again, let's look at this logically. There's once again a mixture of players just brought in and a few surplus to requirements. Not a great mix for a team bond. Although he's getting pelters, I think Devlin is doing fine. I like the look of Yokota and Dragojevic and the big defender.

shankland came straight out of an injury into a title run in into a world cup so imo, looks a bit jaded. Very unlucky with the 2 big injuries.
Still think Raskin likely to go with that money going towards a creative midfielder. i'd like Penrice, and a quick winger and striker.

I think this is the most sensible post I've seen. Yes, we are struggling right now, but context is everything.

McInnes has been steady in every job he has had, so why are we any different? He needs time, support, and Thelwell/Purdy out the door.

Personally would like a manager who knows what he's doing.

14 Aug 2026 11:52:36
I don't disagree, but his decisions during the game (changing personnel and tactics at half time) are not doing him any favours. He appears to be second guessing himself or taking advice from the wrong people.

That game was there for the taking last night, and his naivety in his tactics cost us.

This is what fans will get on his back for. He controls this.

A "bit jaded"?

14 Aug 2026 11:58:33
Guys, sorry but the fear is real. We need a minimum of 5 or 6 first team picks in. They then have to be implemented into the group and settled in our unique environment and league. Last night's result will have a massive impact on who we can bring in and we need better than what we have in the door asap.

Did you see Shankland taking that shy in the first minute, his shirt pulled up exposing his fat belly? This is our stand bearer, leader on the pitch.

Couldn't pass, couldn't hold the ball up, a few excellent balls from Takota and Gassama, and where was Shankland? I'll tell you where he was, away daydreaming about his halftime pies.

There's no point sacking another manager, but there's 0 excuses for this rubbish. We don't want to hear your logic and your excuses.

God post Bazbear. We will improve, let's all stay level and back the team. 🇬🇧

14 Aug 2026 13:12:48
I noticed that Bigjorg was embarrassed.
The team as a whole look way off it, fitness-wise. What are they actually doing in training?

14 Aug 2026 13:32:51
Blue89, I watched it with my misses and she said our captain showing off his keg lol.

14 Aug 2026 13:40:42
A bit jaded? He is fat and unfit and he is a Rangers captain it's a complete disgrace.

14 Aug 2026 14:00:48
McInnes is steady at what, he is only constant is that he hasn't won anything.

14 Aug 2026 15:04:43
Storm, 😅😅 easy with the praise.

14 Aug 2026 15:57:19
He's only jaded because of the extra timber he's carrying.
The same ones sticking up for a fat Shankland are the same ones that used to vilify Morelos coming back overweight.

I had a great laugh at some of those replies, guys, thanks.
Cheers for the balanced response, Dado, he did make changes a couple of games at half time that made us better too.
Storm, I'm starting to recognise your angry posts before I even see your name, pal, but keep it coming. Love your passion.

I'm not sticking up for Shanks per se, mph, but I've got a modicum of understanding. He was never slim, and if he was good last year under McInnes, hard to think he won't be again this year. I'm sure some of you guys were slating Chermiti as worse Rangers striker ever for the first few months of last year.
