Alright lads, I hope everyone is good.
I thought I'd get back on after losing it on here, and throwing my toys out the pram. This team of ours, eh?!
I'm going through to the game today, and I'm looking forward to a day out with a few of my mates. Hopefully it's a decent game, but friendlies mean the square root of hee haw in the grand scheme of things. Remember when we beat Real Madrid? 🤣
Another season! Am I confident? Right now, no, but hopefully we bring in a few quality starters, then i can start to look forward to the season ahead.
Right now, it's my belief that we are actually weaker on the field than we were last season when we finished 3rd. Gloss it up anyway you want, but that's not good. I believe we have a better manager, who is better set up to succeed in Scottish football, however, on the field, we are weaker. And by quite a bit!
McCrorie, regardless of how much of a Rangers man he is, is miles behind what Tav gave us - if he is our 1st choice RB, then we have an issue. Raskin is head and shoulders better than any other midfielder we currently have, and if he is sold, he must be replaced by better. M Moore is not coming back, and as much as I like Curtis, the boy is a level or two below what Moore is. And don't start me on our defence! Yip, there is still plenty of work to be done, but I'm confident we will strengthen, and by quite a bit.
Anyway, I don't want to bore you all, and I'm sure you all know, I'll have much more to say as the season goes on. I hope everyone is ok, but if not, you know there's a plethora of good people on here ready to listen and support. If anyone else is going today, I hope you all have a great day out. C'mon!

Great to have you back Sunshine, like you I don't see us stronger currently. Time will see if the manager is the right man or not. I do worry we may not get the quality in though. Certainly, no matter the negative press coming from across the city, which is all a ploy and manipulation of the media, they are still about to buy a big player.
Still, apparently we have a marquee signing that will blow our minds in August.

Welcome back, mate, and you are 100% bang on the money. Without 3 or 4 significant signings, we're heading for second place (or below) again.
The only good news is guys like Chermiti and Chewy should be better and not need time to hit the ground running.
