We all know how important and an honour it is to be the captain of Glasgow Rangers ?So for a gauge on here to who we'd possibly want as our new captain i'd like to ask the ED to run a poll on this subject for me ? Imagine we did definitely sign lewis Ferguson and dan neil my poll would be ie."Who would you prefer to be the new Rangers captain", lewis Ferguson, lawrence shankland, dan neil or another ?As always ED, very much obliged ?cheers mate ?

Not sure someone like Neil should be in the leadership group, never mind captain.
Don't know what he's done in his career to gain the respect of a new dressing room?

I don't like strikers as captain. So if we do sign Ferguson I would have him but I don't think we will sign him.
Neil was captain of Sunderland, I think the year they came up from Championship mph, but I don't think he should be captain either.

MPH, would you not say captaining a team when you're 22/23 years old and gaining promotion to the Premier League is quite impressive for a young player? Does that not demonstrate leadership qualities? Would I have him as captain? Probably not, but it can't hurt to have leaders in the leadership group, surely?

We are not getting Ferguson, so seems pointless, and doubt very much it will be either of the other 2, so has to be another.

My point being, Tav123.
That if I lol at him in the leadership group, he present inspire me.
Now if he was good enough to have stayed captain and played in the EPL I dread of being loaned to a Championship club then he could see that point of view.
Just my opinion on him.

Rommens has all the qualities to be a Rangers captain, and if not, Shankland must surely be under consideration, but it will become clearer when we know who is staying at Rangers.

Mph, Rangers are never getting 24 years old cm's that can't play in the EPL. Really don't know what kinda players you must be wanting, because that will never happen, and hadn't happened for decades.

We've got some wanting a 24-year-old signed that is currently playing in the EPL, when we've got players signing for us, hoping one day they can eventually play in the best league in the World.
Thinking we'll sign a 24-year-old that is currently playing in the EPL, is right up there, something that has never happened since the 1980's.

We currently have a 26 year old playing for one of the top International teams and will leave to play in one of the top 5 leagues.
We are keen on a 27 year old who plays for one of the top Italian sides.
So not sure what point you are trying to make in correlation to a 24 year old Championship player, MyStar.
