Congratulations Hull.

23 May 2026 17:50:59
Unreal for McBurnie. What a season he's had. Highest scoring Scottish striker this season should be going to the World Cup. Adams and Dykes miles behind him.

23 May 2026 17:52:34
My star, I had a cheeky £3 on McBurnie and Hull 1-0 at 35/1, a nice £108 back in winnings. ?

23 May 2026 17:59:46
Matt Crooks. ? ?

23 May 2026 18:12:53
Bet McBurnie 1st goal 7/1.
Bet Hulk to win game just over 3/1.
And waiting on Kane for a good few quid as had him made a McBurnie 3 cross.

23 May 2026 18:13:01
Sws, well done, mate. I had Hull win, McBurnie anytime, but was let down though, mate, I had btts.

23 May 2026 18:22:24
I had Celtic and between 2/4, Munich RBTTS and a draw in the Hull game. ? ?

23 May 2026 18:25:15
McBurnie will never get any credit from many on here, Peter, his workrate is something else, defences know they're in for a game if he's leading the line, they talk about his goals, played in Spain last season, EPL the season before, scored 22/23 goals the last time he was in the Championship, and 19 this season.

23 May 2026 18:27:21
McBurnie had no club last year, and folk on here said he wasn't good enough for Rangers. He'd have probably walked here.
Same as players like Lewis Ferguson, apparently wasn't Rangers quality, makes you laugh at times how wrong we get it, myself included with some signings.

23 May 2026 18:27:51
Well done Hull and Ollie McBurnie. How steaming must Clarke have been to pick Adams and Dykes over McBurnie.

23 May 2026 18:28:56
Hope you get your bet up storm. ? ?

23 May 2026 18:50:41
Yeah, maybe played in those leagues, mystar, makes it sound good, but as I've put up already this season apart he's scored 20 odd goals in past 5 seasons, so there's a reason some won't give him credit, it's not just because we don't like him, it's purely because he ain't good enough. I'd be mortified if we signed him. Thankfully our club never will.

Boy blue, Dykes has never been prolific, ever, yet still makes every squad. McBurnie a far better player.

23 May 2026 19:24:23
Boy Blue, so good enough for playing in top five leagues, last season in the Spanish league he was the top scorer for his relegated side, maybe only scored 5, and good enough for the EPL, 6 goals, 3 assists, 9 goal contributions for Sheffield United in 21 EPL games the season before, but not good enough for Rangers, dear, dear, is all I can say.

I never wanted him at Rangers anyway, only because some clearly don't appreciate his workrate, but wanted him at Sunderland a couple of years ago.

23 May 2026 19:29:41
Dykes & Ralston in the squad, Clarks taking the piss.

23 May 2026 19:35:30
Just had a look, 5 last season in Spain, 6 the season before in the EPL, 13 in the Championship the year before, so 24 goals the last 3 seasons.

23 May 2026 19:38:24
He's scored just under 150 goals.

23 May 2026 19:51:38
He scores a half dozen next season, not bad at all for Hull, same with Sheffield United in the EPL, or his relegation team in Spain, not many chances created from those sides, man deserves more credit than he gets from some, imo.

23 May 2026 20:08:40
Well done McBurnie, Matt Crooks, Jon Lundstrum and Kieran Dowell, EPL bound, all quality players. ?

23 May 2026 20:13:52
Star, again you put up 15 posts hoping to stop others posting it seems. He is a 1 in 3 striker over his career though, and he gets mentioned only because he is a Rangers fan. I watched the game, and he did nothing apart from throw himself at defenders and try, unsuccessfully, to bully them. The keeper had a mare and dropped the ball at his feet, and he didn't even make great contact, but fair play, he scored.

He won't be Hull's striker next season if they want to stay in the league, and he isn't good enough imo to be ours. I would rather stick with Chermiti and Naderi than have him anywhere near us. I hope the club think the same.

23 May 2026 20:21:25
What exactly is Rangers' quality these days?

Remember the moaning when Thelwell signed Fernandes and Chermiti. Apparently he was lining the pockets of the teams he used to work for. Now they are probably our two most valuable assets. Maybe Thelwell wasn't the devil after all.

23 May 2026 20:32:48
Naw Angus, I was looking stuff up, ok. That is your opinion, like mine is. McBurnie is a good, honest footballer that doesn't get enough credit from some. Hull fans love him for his work this season, just the same as Swansea and Sheffield United. Believe they're in a far better position than fans that have watched him maybe 10 times over the last few years.

23 May 2026 21:09:27
Star, I make no claims that what I write is any more than an opinion; just always think mine is right. ? I also look things up, but just wait until I have it all before I post. No harm meant, it just looks like you are trying to drown us in posts. I thought he was poor today, but took his chance. Wasn't a great game, imo, but glad Boro lost as I have some sympathy for Southampton.

Yes, what they did, but don't believe it gave them that much of an advantage.
Fans do like players who throw themselves around, but I prefer to see that no top level team has ever thought he adds the quality needed. If we want players who will do that, there are cheaper in our league.

23 May 2026 21:15:15
Mystar, your many posts just equate to exactly what I said 20 "odd" goals in 5 seasons before this one. Why would some of us give him credit if we don't think he's good enough? You tried to make it sound better with so many goals in 3 years, conveniently leaving out the 2 seasons before that where he scored 1/25 and 1/30.

23 May 2026 21:19:05
McBurnie upfront way Chermiti would be some pairing. McBurnie be like a Morelos for us would be exciting as I believe he would step up and leave everything on the pitch every game for the team he grew up adoring.

23 May 2026 21:23:02
Angus, fans in the Championship, if asked about the opposition and McBurnie in that side, they'll tell you he's a danger, clearly not the best footballer, but he gets himself about and defences know all about it.

You said 1 in 3 but more to his game, but that 1 in 3 is in far leagues, but better than 1 in 3 in the Championship.

I was out on a walk with the Mrs earlier, mate, why I just fired it up when I found it.

23 May 2026 21:35:02
Many did he get the season before that, Boy blue? He's not from 150, he's more than goals anyway, good Championship player, and he's not going score many for relegation sides either.

23 May 2026 21:41:32
No issues, star, just your style, I know. btw just slightly better than 1 in 3 in Championship (62/162). And 132 goals in 13 seasons isn't good enough imo for us. I think we are only talking about him as he supports Rangers. How about Nakhi Wells or Lukas Jutkeivitz with same sort of record?

23 May 2026 22:08:43
The season before the 2 were he scored 1 in each season he scored 6, Mystar, which I didn't even mention because I had alluded to past 5 in my last post, so that would be 8 goals in 3 seasons.

23 May 2026 22:23:08
Different types of players though, Angus. I didn't like him facing Sunderland at all, like the majority of opposing Championship fans.

Boy blue, clearly wasn't scoring then, but he is now. Only watched highlights this season, normally the Championship is my main league in England.

23 May 2026 22:32:04
Star, we will just have to agree to disagree. Not enough goals or quality. Any player can throw themselves around and create havoc and be liked by fans. We will have Gogic and McBurnie as our new signings, it seems. ?

23 May 2026 22:38:27
Only reason fans want him is because he is a Rangers fan. If he wasn't, those same people would not want him anywhere near us. You are 100% correct, Angus.

23 May 2026 22:49:51
But plays in probably the best two leagues in the World, Angus, I don't think he's all that, hardly, just believe he's a good honest pro that gets the job done.
Yes, different opinions, mate.

And him throwing himself to the ground and creating havoc, more to his game, the opposition fans wouldn't mind that.

23 May 2026 23:42:54
Think Che Adams one of the most over rated strikers I've seen start for Scotland.

24 May 2026 00:16:26
McBurnie good enough for Rangers lol, give it a rest.

24 May 2026 08:17:08
I love McBurnie as part of our squad. I think he'd give us a lot of energy, commitment and aggression which we miss through the season.

In my opinion, you're not building a team around him but I do believe he'd offer something different and be an asset to the team.

I agree on Adams, he doesn't seem to offer much in a Scotland top.

24 May 2026 00:08:45
Agreed, Forever. Always thought he was rank rotten.
