The enigma that is nico Raskin and on Sunday we seen the two different contrast to his play. Brutal 1st half 2nd half outstanding and one of the main reasons we won that game.
For the rest of the season we need the nico that played the 2nd half. I just hope he does it. As it will go along way in helping us win the title.

I'll try and find it, Kaiser. It is usually under a pay wall, Rangers Review, and I refuse to pay.
I know you can say that about most, mate, but Raskin has taken some stick recently, and I don't think he has been as bad as some make out. He hasn't been great tho. It was just very noticeable on Sunday, each half, I thought.
It ain't a big one for 1st name on the team sheet.
Our defence hasn't been great the last few games, losing a few goals, but granted we scored more.
Manny is part of the defence, but am a big believer of defending from the front. So it's not just the defence to blame on that one.

Aye, just read the RR piece and interview with Nico Raskin. It gives a great insight into why the team plays at a slow tempo on occasion, all to do with tactics and shape, but, more importantly, how the opposition line up against us.
Rohl is very tactically astute when it comes to seeing what is required to turn games in our favour, hence the reason why we start some games as we do and finish stronger. It might not be for everybody, but it explains a lot.

Same mystar, Manny first on the team sheet for me, followed by Rommens. I've always had a soft spot for Nico, but I honestly feel that it's more his character than his football. He's a fiery character with a bit about him, but imo, his signing overall has been a total mixed bag imho.
It's frustrating because we all know exactly what he's capable of. It's consistency with him.

The 6 goals were great, but for me the best thing about that game was how happy the players were after. Did you see their faces - Raskin, Aasgaard, Chermiti. They were genuinely happy. This will be important for the run in. We need a strong team harmony and mentality.

I always think Raskin is better as an 8. He plays well at 6, but he can burst forward and take men on.

Rohl has to shoulder a big part of the blame for our poor first half. It was Rohl that set us up in a 4231 with a number 10. I would have thought by now that Rohl would know that system just doesn't work for us. I'm glad he realised at HT that it wasn't working and changed to 442 otherwise we could have dropped more points. Pundits and Analysts have all said we look a far better team playing 442. We have to stick to 442 for the run in, if we do we will have a great chance of winning the title.
Raskin is our best attacking midfielder, much better than Diomande who I think is finished at Rangers. I also think patience has ran out with Skov who looks completely disinterested.

He's not as good as John Lundstram was, don't forget it.

Raskin's been average for us across his whole time here, he turns up for 45 mins then disappears for games.
He wasn't doing this last season, almost like there's a world cup coming up and him trying to make sure he stays fit could cost us the title.
You don't think so, that's the contrast in the first and the second half, he could be the best player in the team but he performs like the first half 85% of the time across this season.
Never a captain btw, you can't fall out with 2 managers be known to not take instructions and be leaking the team when you're unhappy and be a captain.
He's worse than John Lundstram, never hit his level, never had a performance better, and if you think honestly he has, just go back and watch the euro final run, he's never put in performances like that for us, he's been here longer. Rate him properly, give the 8m striker a break and maybe point at the guy YOU think is the best player in the team, how can he not be criticised ever?
