Hi

Great come back against Falkirk, but to lose three goals in any game is a worry, but should still win the league!

13 Apr 2026 11:19:37
Why worry when we score 6? Winning games is all that interests me.

13 Apr 2026 12:29:49
Outscoring the opponent is all that matters, whether it's 1-0 or 7-6. 3 pts closer to the title.

13 Apr 2026 12:40:19
We won with a plus 3 goal difference. I don't see the issue. They clearly struggled to adapt to the pitch compared to Falkirk, to begin with. Mentality monsters, another German might call them after that.

13 Apr 2026 12:50:54
So, it's a boring struggle when we get a clean sheet and win 1-0, and now we worry when we score 6 but lose 3 in an entertaining performance. Are we only to be happy when we win 6-0? The conditions made it a bit of a fluke game, that won't happen again for a long while, so let's just enjoy it.

After a bad start, we showed fight to come back and win the three points. That's all that matters.

13 Apr 2026 13:10:14
Won our last four games, 0-1 against St Mirren, complaints, Aberdeen 4-1, complaints about our cf's getting no goals, United 4-2, plenty of complaints again, 6-3, complaints about losing 3 goals, complaints about anything, I prefer having a more positive outlook and thinking about both of centre forwards scoring a double in a half.

14 goals the last few games is impressive. We're hitting form at the right time.

13 Apr 2026 14:00:35
Jesus.
I think it's ok to be worried about conceding 3 goals. Yes, we scored 6 but don't think you can just ignore the defensive lapses.
It doesn't amount to complaining by mentioning it, surely.

13 Apr 2026 14:07:28
We could win 10-0 and some fans would still complain fs.

And if we were in a league where we beat teams 10-0 every weekend then it wouldn't be a league worth watching, to be honest.

That's why the Scottish TV deal is so poor, because other fans are sick of seeing Celtic win double/trebles every year without much fight required.

13 Apr 2026 14:48:41
Yesterday's first half was horrendous.
Second half was much better.
But going 2 behind should concern us.
Losing a terrible penalty to the defensively poor Tav should concern us.
Strikers missing sitters should concern us.
As we never beat Livi after going 2 behind.
And poor performances should be pulled up.

We were told by some that dropping points to Motherwell after leading and against 10 men that it wasn't a bad result as they would take points of others - funnily enough both our title rivals have beaten them 3-1.
Standards need to be set from the first to last whistle.

13 Apr 2026 15:08:55
Very good post, Mrph. I believe Motherwell debacle could haunt us

I'm not sure where the Chermiti sitters were yesterday, u mean two shots from outside the box?

13 Apr 2026 15:26:23
The one that was offside, John.
He still needs to bury that, IMHO.
And the blast from distance should have been on target, instead of hitting The Kelpies.
Though, I thought his 2 goals were well taken, and what a Rangers number 9 should be scoring.
Right place for the first and instinctive shot for the second.

13 Apr 2026 15:27:01
Mph, didn't Celtic lose against Motherwell at Fir Park?

13 Apr 2026 16:01:54
I agree that defensive lapses and losing 3 goals are a concern. Thinking otherwise is nuts. Better organised teams will punish any slip-up.

13 Apr 2026 16:03:39
Sorry, but if 1-0 or 6-0 or 6-3

As long as win and or team shows fight and gives their all, what more can we ask? And I think they all did that the other day, proud of every one of them yesterday. Onwards and upwards.

13 Apr 2026 16:17:16
Mr Ph, imo, an offside miss is not a sitter, as it would correctly have been ruled out. If I was going to criticise, he went too soon. Agree re first shot over bar, should hit target.

So should Tav, Gassama, Raskin, Fernandesb with efforts.

13 Apr 2026 16:31:09
Folk r correct about being concerned about losing three goals in any remaining game as we won't be getting any points imo.

13 Apr 2026 17:19:25
Both were sitters and, of course, it's still a sitter if he is offside, as he didn't know he was at that point, but we asked him to step up with goals and he done that, so should get the plaudits.

People can be worried about losing 3 goals, as you do that against Hearts, Celtic, we ain't winning the game. You can't give them 2 goals of a start.

13 Apr 2026 17:46:13
Spot on, Storm. The goals we concede are so easily preventable, if we can cut those out, we seem to have the players to score the goals. I watched parts of our rivals' games on Sat, and if we finish above Hearts, we win the league.

13 Apr 2026 19:26:54
I get the concerns & I understand why, but as long as we score one more than the opposition & get the 3 pts, that's what counts. Points win leagues, not clean sheets (although they do help. ?).

13 Apr 2026 20:03:08
3pts is all that matters and to come from 0-2 to win 6-3 was brilliant.
Only my opinion, but Miovski made a massive difference with his link up play and goals, and hopefully he starts v Motherwell.

13 Apr 2026 21:31:41
Hi MyStar.
Motherwell beat Celtic well before we dropped points to a 10-man Motherwell side.
Since then, they have been beaten by Celtic, Hearts and even Falkirk.

14 Apr 2026 09:47:21
Both Celtic and Hearts won narrowly by a single goal on Saturday. I am thinking that we have it in us to win the League and Celtic and Hearts do not.
