I'm sorry to say i'm starting to agree with lifer. DR sits passively on the bench at the penalties their manager and wee Shaun geeing everyone up. We have spent more money in the winter transfer than all the other teams put together. Thier manager turns 1 point into 3 ours turns 3 into 1 point. We need winners in our team starting with the manager and captain.
I want to see a bit of passion all over the park. I've never met DR and certainly haven't seen him addressing the players in the changing room but he doesn't strike me as being passionate. You only need. To look at wee McGregor in the huddle. That's what's missing from our entire team starting with the manager.

Aye, Rab - because a manager standing at the sidelines can stop a player blasting the ball over the bar from 12 yards ? - and it's the players on the park who should make a difference - not a leader among them, IMHO.
Several of whom have failed under various managers. You cannot make a purse out of a sow's ear, but we can bin another manager, then another manager, then another manager. Groundhog Day. ?

I'm just wondering what Andrew Cavanaugh's thoughts were regarding the trouble after the game.
Also, I'm hoping it won't jeopardise further investment.

It's too easy to just blame the manager all the time at this club. He sorted what he had to from last week, but the players could not find one goal between them. He spent money on three players and they all played well, but it takes more than three or four players playing well to win a game. In a big game, Chermiti did nothing, Moore was poor, and Skov Olsen and Gassama were worse than poor. He looks at a bench that includes Aasgaard and Miovski, who he rightly doesn't trust to bring on.
I looked around and could only see two guys I would trust with pens, and one of them missed. It's not about geeing up players; it's about skill and the courage to step up, and we are sadly lacking in both. Remember, this squad is so poor that others wouldn't even take the job. Celtic are poor, but so are we; hence why it was such a poor game.

Dr's fault we got beat on penalties? Lol, what a load of tosh. What would feeling a player up to take a penalty do? Have you ever got a pen? It's a lonely place in your head at that point. I highly doubt they are thinking about what someone has said to gee them up.

Wslgers4ever, Celtic didn't have 1 player play well, and they still won the game in the end.
The players are the main issue; however, it was the manager that made the subs, and they were gash.

Celtic didn't win it; we lost it. Failure to score with the chances we had. This game should never have gone to extra time, never mind penalties.

Chermiti has to score 1 of the 2 chances he git late on, and it's game over.

Celtic did win it, Gees.

AllyMc62, take off your blue specs. Aurojo, Trusty, and Scales played really well, as did Hatate in a different role for him. So, like us, they had 3 or 4 players play well; hence, the game was a poor-quality draw, but then they had composed penalty takers. Do you think geeing up Tav or Gassama would have helped?
As for the subs, he took off Diomande, who was poor and had been booked, and put on Chukwuani, who had a good game.
Bajrami did ok and had our only shot on target, and was the sub demanded by everybody last week. Moore was also carrying an injury. Rommens and Sterling were subbed because they were done in, and Tav put in our only decent corner all game. I am assuming Djiga was injured, and who else could have gone on for ASO? Only Aasgaard and Miovski weren't used, and they have been useless.

Dio was also injured just before half time.

You must have been watching a different game. I saw Rohl a lot in his technical area, gesturing for players to shut theirs down, and applauding when we won the ball back or moved quickly.
I also saw the set-piece coach out a few times; he didn't look any worse than O'Neil or Maloney.
