Reading barry Ferguson's column in this morning's Daily Record is superb reading and gives an insight to any outsider what this Old Firm double header means to baz and all us true Rangers supporters, he describes it passionately and superbly well ? His words jump out at you and make you feel absolutely proud and privileged to support an institution like the famous Glasgow Rangers ???Baz is a proper Glasgow ranger and he absolutely adores Rangers and you can almost feel his words ?He knows what it means and takes and the fight for the cause to send every bear home ecstatic on sunday afternoon ?Git intae them ???

SWS, very confident about the game on Sunday, mate.
25 Feb 2026 17:33:13
SWS, I wonder who ghosted it for him?
25 Feb 2026 17:42:24
I've heard that Keith Jackson has been known to lend a helping hand, Thornton.
25 Feb 2026 18:10:02
Beale, I'm also very confident. Most confident I've been in many, many years.
I fancy us to win by a few goals.
25 Feb 2026 18:31:51
It seems when we go to games overconfident, we fail to produce, i.e. Livi. I hope we come out with the fight and desire to win a derby, and probably kill off their chances of winning the league.
25 Feb 2026 18:37:13
We should all be aware that Old Firm games can swing on a moment or decision, and no matter how far in front any team is "favourite wise", anything can and may happen. We need to be aggressive from minute one, and thereafter I will take what comes our way - under Mon (however poor they have been), they will not be a pushover in any way, and they have been, over the course as a club, much more regularly than us.
A wee look back at last weekend shows what we cannot do. IMHO.
25 Feb 2026 18:47:05
It's an Old Firm game, and anything can happen. I wouldn't be underestimating them. It's about opinions, but I'm not confident after some of the recent results, and I fear if we go in with the same back four, it could go pear-shaped.
O'Neil will have them fired up and fighting for everything, so only a very good, all-round performance will do.
25 Feb 2026 18:52:19
Last two league games at Ibrox, 5-1 and 4-2. That is why I'm confident. Hearts are a better team than the one we face on Sunday.
25 Feb 2026 18:52:25
Correct, Blue, and good post.
25 Feb 2026 19:01:00
Take our chances, we win and win well. Go for it from the off, and Ibrox will be bouncing.
25 Feb 2026 19:13:29
I would take a win with the ball bouncing off Charmitis Arse.
I just have a feeling it is going to be a very tight game.
25 Feb 2026 19:36:05
No harm in being confident without being overconfident. ? I'm quietly confident we'll beat them 3-1 on Sunday. ? ??
25 Feb 2026 19:49:09
Some people never learn. ?
25 Feb 2026 20:03:31
I'm confident, as I'll always back Rangers to win at Ibrox, no matter who it is, whether that's when we've played in Europe recently or domestically. Whether we win or not, we'll have to wait till Sunday.
26 Feb 2026 08:20:06
Not confident of anything with this Rangers team. I'd take a punt that Schmeichel will have a blinder.
26 Feb 2026 08:34:50
Fork, what are we needing to learn, mate?
26 Feb 2026 08:55:24
I'm not convinced at all tbh. Call me negative, but we went down twice against an under-strength Hearts at home, then battled back to win. We went down 2-0 to Livi, came back for a draw. We go down against the soap dodgers, I can't see us pulling it back.
We have built our recovery on defence, knowing our attack has been underwhelming. We're back to leaking goals. Thoughts are, we will need to play above anything we have this season to win.
26 Feb 2026 09:11:31
Assuming that a victory is a given, and predicting scores is best left unsaid. See what happens, as u know it never goes the way you think it will. By all means, be confident, but be cautious, so stop asking silly questions. ???
26 Feb 2026 09:19:01
Yep, even in our glory years they could pull off the unthinkable. Sunday will be tough, and there are no clear favourites in my mind. Usual cliches: whoever wants it most, and luck / VAR on the day.
26 Feb 2026 09:21:25
Firk, never read anyone assuming it's a guaranteed victory, mate. Just very confident of beating this bang average Celtic team.
26 Feb 2026 09:26:49
Correct Broste. ?
26 Feb 2026 09:40:52
Some have predicted scores. By definition, that's an assumption of victory. I never said anything about guarantees.
26 Feb 2026 09:45:55
Fork, cool mate. My score prediction: Rangers 4 Celtic 1, Chermiti double.
26 Feb 2026 09:51:08
Lol, you're bonkers. ????
26 Feb 2026 09:52:43
Tbh I hope you're right, but think it'll be tighter, bud. ?
26 Feb 2026 10:05:12
Fork, I am the same. Whenever I see a big victory predicted, I just think of what it is going to be like on here when it doesn't happen, and then cringe. The same score was being predicted at Livi, and look how that happened. Setting ourselves up for a big fall.
For me, all I ever want is a good performance first and foremost, with everyone giving their all. If we do that, then good results tend to follow. I would, as someone else said, accept a 1-0 win in the last minute off someone's backside.
26 Feb 2026 10:10:31
Bang average Celtic side that are 2
points behind us with a game in hand must mean we are bang average as well. ?♂️ Embarrassing, really.
We may well win on Sunday, but anytime we are confident we bottle it.
Everyone was confident of beating Livi; what happened there?
I get what you are meaning, Fork. Problem is, they won't ever learn. They think they are always right, even when they are barely ever. ?
26 Feb 2026 10:14:10
Fork, tell me something I don't know, mate. ??? We don't be that rubbish, we don't deserve any league, never been this confident since the game at Celtic Park. ?
26 Feb 2026 10:18:03
Angus, any fan is happy with 1-0, mate.
26 Feb 2026 13:51:47
Does fans' confidence have an impact on what the players do on the day?
26 Feb 2026 15:37:16
Strom, you are correct.
The false negativity emanating from the opposition is ramping up.
Sutton coming out and saying he can't see Celtic winning.
McGregor bemoaning the ongoing clash of Club with fans.
O'Neil having a complete melt down over VAR.
Don't fall for all this crap, Rangers - they will be right up for this game, as should we.
26 Feb 2026 15:40:05
Gd Q Tav. ?
26 Feb 2026 16:47:02
What is far more embarrassing is not thinking this is a bang-average Celtic team.
26 Feb 2026 17:39:40
Who doesn't think they are bang average? All teams in Scotland are bang average. ?♂️ It's embarrassing to think otherwise.
You just won't admit Rangers are.
I will tell you who aren't bang average: Bodo Glimt, that's who. ?
