I can't call the game on Sunday form out window what form anyway?
I don't think any fan can call it. A lot of Rangers fans say they are rotten which maybe true but what are we then? Because they have a game in hand and at the moment it's 2 points we are a head. So going by that the same fans must think we are rotten as well.

You can't come with the excuse of Russel Martin as they had Nancy in for a period as well.

All I do know is Sunday is a must win. Unless Hearts get beat (doubtful) then a draw isn't acceptable but it would still be a point gained.

A loss on Sunday then it's goodnight Vienna IMO.

25 Feb 2026 13:57:40
Very valid points.

25 Feb 2026 14:07:03
Rangers need to beat a Celtic team missing Johnstone, Vickers, Trusty, Engels, and Jota. It's a must-win, especially at Ibrox.

25 Feb 2026 14:09:24
Can anyone confirm that the mob have to be in the ground an hour before kick-off, and if the barrier will be up on Sunday?
Cheers. ??

25 Feb 2026 14:15:35
Wouldn't have minded Engles and Trusty playing, Wear. When Celtic lose, will that mean their league is finished then?

25 Feb 2026 14:21:05
If Celtic lose on Sunday, I don't think they can win the league, so yes, it would be imo even though they do have a game in hand.

25 Feb 2026 14:21:33
Just for the sake of argument on the excuse, Nancy made a disaster of a winning squad, whereas Martin left Rohl a mess of one, so a bit different. We need a win, I agree, but there are going to be lots of points dropped, so I still don't think it's going to be done if we don't do it.

25 Feb 2026 14:22:30
Should be up, Bee, as it's a league game. ?

25 Feb 2026 14:25:54
Agreed - it's a must win.

4 points dropped from 6 against Motherwell, and Livi have made a win essential.

25 Feb 2026 14:26:53
I'd say no Star because if they win against Aberdeen they will still only be 2 points behind us. They also have us and Hearts at home after the split. It's a must-win for us, though.

It really depends on what Hearts do now, because I can't see Rangers or Celtic win anymore than 7 out of the last 10. I honestly see both drawing at least 3 more games each. It's Hearts to lose now imo.

25 Feb 2026 14:32:05
I'm looking for three in a row at Celtic Park, Wear. Can see Celtic struggling against Aberdeen as well. It definitely looks like O'Neill's fortune is running out, and it's the right time.

25 Feb 2026 14:39:16
It's imperative we win.
It's nothing to do with Celtic; it's more that we need to keep the pressure on Hearts.
We can say it's only 4 points, but we have missed numerous chances to close it further in recent weeks.

As for the game itself, I suppose it depends on what version of Rangers turns up.
The one that beat Hearts, or the one that dropped points to 10-man Motherwell and Livi.

25 Feb 2026 14:44:19
A win against them and a Hearts win would hopefully put the nail in Celtic's coffin. 9 points is a lot to make up, with 10 to play, plus goal difference.

25 Feb 2026 14:50:34
Think we will win and we really need to, but it's the other teams, especially away from home, that gives me the fear.

25 Feb 2026 14:54:44
I actually fancied us for the league, but the performances against Hibs, Motherwell, and Livingston reminded me of 2 seasons ago. Tav causes chaos in our backline, Souttar adds to that chaos, and when you have a backline like that, nothing is safe.

Even in the Kilmarnock game, Tav nearly caused us to go down to 10 men with slack play. He could easily have got a 2nd yellow in that game. Time will tell.

25 Feb 2026 15:15:11
Back to Tav bashing, I see.

25 Feb 2026 15:17:21
Home advantage will be massive this Sunday. ✌️??

25 Feb 2026 15:33:12
Kaiser, I know it's different, but if they didn't bring Nancy in, O'Neill was on a roll at that point at Celtic, and they would have been out of sight by now. Just my opinion. So, I think Nancy being appointed has had the same impact as Martin had on us.

25 Feb 2026 15:39:31
Trevor Steven, Tav has been terrible lately. No bashing, just the truth.

25 Feb 2026 15:42:28
They definitely threw us a lifeline with that mistake.

25 Feb 2026 15:43:47
All I'm going to add to your post, Storm, is that this, for me, will decide if Rohl has what it takes to be a Rangers manager!

Before I get the usual responses, I'll clarify. I mean, in how he sets us up, team selection, tactics, etc., as this is now a huge game for him, especially after our poor away results and the pressure piled on by how poor Celtic are lately, and them missing a fair few key players too.

25 Feb 2026 16:09:01
If Hearts win on Saturday, then I think Storm's right. Whoever loses on Sunday won't win it, not because the points difference would be too much as such, but because both Rangers and Celtic will drop more points in the last 9 games, so it would need a real Hearts collapse to allow the loser back in.

25 Feb 2026 17:00:50
What about Hearts' result away to Hibs? Did they not get beat? What about Hearts' result away to Motherwell; did they not draw? What about Celtic's result away to Hibs? Did they not get beat? What about Celtic's result away to Motherwell; did they not get beat? So why does us drawing against those teams mean we can't win the league?

25 Feb 2026 17:49:43
Because Hearts aren't 4 points behind, Tav.
We had an opportunity to close the gap further and blew it twice against 10 men.

25 Feb 2026 18:27:47
It's not bashing to say that we are weaker at the back with him and Souttar as part of a back four. That was similar to how it was in the past, and when Rohl came in we had to go to a back five to try and shore it up. With injuries, I don't think it is the worst idea to go back to that to try and get clean sheets again.

We are capable of scoring, but at the minute the defence gives me the fear.
He would play Sterling if fit, but he is not, so let's see what team he picks on Sunday.
They have all the analysis nowadays to study past games, and losing four goals in the last two games is not good.

25 Feb 2026 18:38:26
We are... How did Tavernier cause chaos in the back line versus Hibs when he never played in the game? He was a sub but never came off the bench. Chaos that led to a 0-0 draw. ?
You must have watched all those games really closely, so don't think I will take your opinion on this if you can't even get which games he played in right.

As has been said, it's just an excuse for Tav bashing because you think it will get support.

25 Feb 2026 18:55:58
Yeah, we did, MPH, but we still have a chance to win the league, do we not?

25 Feb 2026 19:16:23
Agreed, Angus. ?

25 Feb 2026 20:31:50
Tav, are you ok? What the hell is that? Celtic got beat by Hibs at home, just to correct you, not away.

Also, who says we can't win the league right at this min? Maybe you need to read the posts again. ? What a meltdown.

Are people not allowed to have a different opinion to you? That's all it is. No one can say their opinion is right or wrong. Calm down.

I won't repeat what MPH said, as that explains it, and you still don't seem to understand that opinion. ?

26 Feb 2026 09:47:26
Never said a thing about Hibs away. We got a clean sheet in that match, so no chaos in that match from the back line. Wait, who wasn't playing that game, did you say?

26 Feb 2026 10:09:00
To be fair to Tav, he was just highlighting the fact that results against Hibs and Motherwell away weren't as bad as the unhappy clappers make out. I can see where he's coming from. Hibs have beaten Hearts and Celtic, and Motherwell humbled Celtic. I think Motherwell will have the biggest say in who wins the league.

26 Feb 2026 12:22:51
"Unhappy Clappers" that a thing now? ? ?

26 Feb 2026 13:42:03
Just a wee play on words, Fork, pal, trying to keep it light-hearted.

26 Feb 2026 15:48:21
I wasn't disagreeing with MPH and whose opinion did I say was wrong?

You seem to say people are allowed an opinion when it suits you. And, btw, you, multiple times over the course of this season, have said we won't win the league, and anybody who thinks that is an idiot.

At least some people are consistent on this site, as Angus said before, you're very inconsistent.

26 Feb 2026 15:59:19
