Does anyone believe we can still win the title. I'm going to say no. Reason being constantly playing with 1 striker leaves them isolated. At 1 point last night Chermiti was about 40 yards in front of any other Rangers player. Our front 3 did nothing. Will we drop more points consistently playing like that.
Yes. I was confident then I seen the lineup and bemused. Our full backs offered nothing either. Personally I think DR got it wrong last night. I'll await the you should be manager snipes that usually come from certain posters

No, you definitely shouldn't be manager if you give up on titles so easy. If you don't think the other two will drop points, that's up to you. When we beat both Hearts and Celtic, I hope you will change your mind.
12 Feb 2026 13:37:57
Aye, I still believe.
Bigger question is, do the players?
Because that was another half arsed performance from some of them.
And, for me, Danny Rohl has been given all the plaudits for getting back into this title race.
But he has to take some criticism for getting it wrong last night.
12 Feb 2026 13:39:42
Well, I think we can still win the league, so you saying no to your own question is invalid. ??
The title is there to be won. Danny Rohl just has to make the correct team selection, which shouldn't be that difficult.
Hearts and Celtic will drop points for sure.

Chermiti, last night, went to make loads of runs, and he had space in midfield. Pass sideways or back. Naderi will fail with this system also.
12 Feb 2026 13:45:36
I think we still can, but don't think it'll be comfortable or enjoyable, except from the trophy lift!
I prefer us playing with one striker, but agree that when we do, they often get isolated, as our defence and midfield naturally sit very deep.
12 Feb 2026 14:01:39
Far too early to write us off, albeit I agree with you on your other points.
Celtic were minutes away from drawing at home to Livi last night. Okay, they showed the determination to bag a late winner, but they can't just keep doing that. They're going to drop a significant number of points in the coming months, especially as they have the busiest schedule.
On the plus side for them, they have a wily old manager who knows what it takes to get a team over the line in the SPFL.
I think this could still go all the way till the final day, with three teams in with a chance to win the title. Intriguing stuff.
12 Feb 2026 14:36:28
Win on Sunday, and the mood changes. I still think we can do it, but it won't be easy or nice.
12 Feb 2026 14:47:15
No more midweek games, strongest team from now on.
12 Feb 2026 14:58:12
Davie, you go from we can win the league, to we can't, to we can, to we can't each week.
12 Feb 2026 15:10:25
Ill only say no when we can't possibly win it. The stars all need to line up for us, but its too early to throw the towel in.
We have players just in the door who need to gel, which will help a lot once they do.
12 Feb 2026 15:15:24
I kind of feel DR had an eye on the next few weeks, mainly the weekend, and thought the team he fielded last night could have done the job, or be leading and subs come on and see it though, but he just chose the wrong subs at the wrong time.
It should have been changed at half time, as Motherwell were far better. The team against Hearts will see a lot of changes. We just need to play our best players every game, and if we do, we can beat Hearts & Celtic twice.
12 Feb 2026 15:21:45
It's mental how some work, Tav. Win on Sunday, it's back on, mate.
12 Feb 2026 16:08:05
Tav, clearly, results and performances change opinion.
12 Feb 2026 16:24:48
Davie, fgs man. There was a thread about Danny Rohl being linked to Spurs, so when you criticised his line up, I joked that you should put your CV in for it. Your post happened to be the first I saw after the thread, so I picked you. Sorry, if I had known you were going to react like you have, I would have thought better of it.
I will stop trying to be funny; in fact, people with different opinions on here get so much crap, I am starting to wonder if it is really worth the bother posting.
So, as to fit in, we were rubbish, Chermiti is never a striker; Tav is past it, and Danny Rohl underestimated Motherwell. I think that is it. Can I play now?
Oh, and we aren't going to win the league; wait, if someone could just confirm if we lost points last night, as if we won, I think we will win it.
Sorry, apart from the first bit, all sarcasm before anyone gets upset.
12 Feb 2026 16:36:08
Yours change more than the weather.
So, the league is finished now, yeah? After dropping two points with 12 games / 36 points left to play for? Some people question the players mentality. I guarantee they won't think it's over.
12 Feb 2026 17:19:26
Angus, I did similar, gave my opinion, then Davie went off on one.
12 Feb 2026 17:24:41
Agreed, Tav, players won't, mate, but fans do it regularly. Many posters have thrown the towel in half a dozen times, and still counting.
12 Feb 2026 18:03:28
Nice to see u share your true feelings, Angus. ????
