Guys your thoughts if we get pipped to the post by either of the other 2. Of course I always want to win and this title is no different but if we falter even with massive disappointment ? I'm more confident than ever for following season.

Don't get me wrong this season is a must for obvious reasons and I can taste it but given our start it won't kill me.
What's your thoughts. Total unacceptable disappointment or shoots of hope for future.

Not sure why people use unacceptable. Of course, it would be disappointing and maybe even heartbreaking, but from where we were to where we are is tremendous. Of course, we want to win, we can taste it, and it means so much more than just winning the league this year, it sets us up for years to come.

If we don't, then let's not have any nonsense of sacking the manager, changing owners, getting rid of recent signings, etc.

The biggest doubt I have is, once the pressure ramps up, can this new young squad handle it? Can we go away to Fir Park, Easter Road, or Tynecastle when a win is a must? Danny has done a great job, but we are short by at least 4 players, and once we get them, we will be tough to stop.

All I know is we have a great chance, and that works for me now. After where we were before Danny Rohl, I would maybe be a bit disappointed if we win nothing this season, but I'd get over it very quickly, because we're definitely building something that will have us winning trophies very soon.

It's very hard to imagine we're not very firmly in the title race after the horrendous start we made under Russell Martin, so to be even in with a great shout of winning both the league title and the Scottish Cup is superb, and well done to our young head coach, Danny Rohl, and our owners for going and getting him, and of course backing him. ?? I understand that if we come up short, it has still been a superb comeback by all involved to even get us near where we currently are, but truth be told, i can now feel and taste the success, and i absolutely would be so disappointed if we now don't go on to win the league title and the Scottish Cup, as i feel it's there for us now, and i reckon we have the form and momentum more than Hearts and Celtic, and i truly believe that.

? Lets go and do this, watp. ??

I think all 3 teams in with a shout would be disappointed at not getting over the line.
Hearts, after leading for so long, would be gutted.
Celtic and Rangers would be more a "what if" in regards to the appointments of Martin & Nancy.
But we have got ourselves right back in and now must push to finish the job.
The bigger question is, has this team got it in them to win the big games?
I said I thought Rangers would falter against Hibs.

But with the acquisition of Naderi (and aye, it's only been 2 games), I genuinely believe we have a striker who could make all the difference, especially in the upcoming games against Motherwell, Hearts and Celtic.
The squad has never looked stronger, in my eyes, for the first time in ages, with competition for places.

We have the ball in our court, imo. Having Hearts and Celtic at home whilst we're on a good run is massive, imo. Yes, we have to go to their place again, but getting the points on the board now is a big bonus.

I can see the more experienced players, Olsen, Antman, and Bajrami, getting more game time ahead of younger guys like Gassama and Moore as the season comes to a climax.

I think whether we win or lose, we are now (at last) starting to build something good for the future. To over-react if we weren't to win and do a total rebuild or sack the manager would set that back another season. I was always a little doubtful, even without Russell Martin, that we could rebuild from scratch and really challenge, so where we already are is above my low expectations.

As OWS says, teams need to develop that mental fortitude, and this is an area where fans can do good. Tension bleeds down onto the pitch imo, and if we can keep positive during and after every game, 50000+ fans can do a lot of good.

If Celtic win the league this year, then the SPFL should just be cancelled, lol.

It would be a complete embarrassment for the league and level of football.
Clubs like Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen can't even compete in the Conference League.

We will know by Sunday night if the team are up to the demands of winning the league. My hope is guys like Souttar have learnt from previous years, and new guys like Chukka and Aolson, who have won trophies, will have a positive influence on the squad.

Yes, I'd like a league and cup double, but let's face it, the way we started, anything's a bonus. With the pedigree of player we have brought in so far, bring that in again in the summer, then let's fully judge next season.
