Yeah kind of feel the same BBJ. He hasn't been prolific anywhere he's been so not hugely excited. Hoping his experience of the league will see him hit the ground running.

I think he's excellent signing Jim and exactly the type of striker we need. A couple strikers like Miovski and we will have no problem beating the low block.

How can you not be excited about a striker who has the ability to score in our league?
It's what we have all wanted for years, for Rangers to start looking at the talent available right in front of our eyes, rather than looking to random leagues in Europe.

I'm not excited by any striker under Martin.
If I was asked if I would take Miovski earlier in summer when I didn't think it was possible and hadn't seen our style of play (none) under Martin then I would have been pretty upbeat about getting Miovski in.

He was absolutely brilliant at Aberdeen wouldn't matter if we signed prime drogba at the moment our heads would still be down. he want to a difficult place and didn't do well that's life.

Knowledge of the league is useless if he takes the required "9 - 10 weeks" to learn how to play the managers system.
A system that hardly creates chances for a front 3.

Miovski is a proven scorer in 'our' league.
He is only 1 year removed from Aberdeen and the signing at around €3m euro + add on actually feels quite astute.
We keep talking in this site about players who can 'cut it' in SPL… this player has shown he can and in his 20's still has a sell on. So for me this is one of the least debatable signings we have made this summer.

I like Miovski as a player, however I have a slight concern as he excels at playing on the shoulder of defences and I don't imagine he has a great deal of experience playing against the low block.

Miovski a good signing for me and proven in our league ?I honestly don't know what it would do to please some. i think they think we should be able to sign someone like erling haaland or some striker of that ability ?.

I agree the fee we have seemingly paid is decent business but come on he wasn't prolific at the sheep where he got much more space so yes underwhelmed but hopefully he does good while he's here.

Great age and experience. He also knows the league and has scored a lot of goals in it. Happy with this one.

Bbj, he was fairly prolific at Aberdeen. 1 in 2 is decent, we should make a lot more chances than them and he has a great scoring record in big games. I'm actually quite excited by him. I've been really underwhelmed by Danilo so far this season, so i'd take Dessers and Miovski as our strikers. Think your right about his league knowledge.

Good point EHL i remember him scoring against us and Celtic but it was always spinning off the last man
