If it's to be believed that Raskin was excluded on Friday morning in a meeting with Martin, then he has set his stall out in the press conference by deliberate obfuscation and avoidance, he basically lied and I think the media were aware, hence the repeated questions on Raskin, he has to go, he has improved nothing and couldn't answer that either, I have a feeling there is going to be real trouble tomorrow, real as in stay at home.

I plucked up the courage and watched him squirm through that interview yesterday. When asked to give one example of what has improved he sat there and said you'd have to ask people above. He's the manager and he can't answer that, he's a broken failure and its just a matter of time. I also read that because he's a vegan he can't wear the leather brogues and he can't wear a shirt and tie because he sweats. I don't know how true that is but that should have set alarm bells off right away. I run a small business and if ones of these wokey's interviewed for my place I would have chased them, they're only going to bring trouble with that nonsense.

I hate to say it but I totally agree Fork. I have a fear that if the game goes badly (likely) that some moron will try to actually physically get at Martin☹️. I've never seen such utter contempt and hatred towards someone within our club before, it's somewhat understandable with everything that's happening, but no one can condone anything like that occurring if it was to do so.

He gets offered the job and he comes in and within a matter of weeks we're in absolute disarray
Is really an ego thing with him
Has the job just been to big for him maybe not having the experience to go into a dressing room that had already lost respect for previous managers

We have been questioning the tactics and set up because we can see its guff. What must the players think? I am completely behind Raskin and the others who have called him out. Its not a big problem on the players. Its actually shows that the players care and it demonstrates leadership. Any decent manager is open to constructive criticism and new ideas. A manager who gets rid of those who speak up lacks confidence in their own ability and wants only yes men. There is nothing worse than yes men.

Depends on how they question is mystar if it's clearly not working and we are losing every week should we blindly follow it or would you not rather your players cared enough to question it? He has to earn the respect and right now he's earned nothing. As I said it depends how you go about it from raskins case if he's been throwing strops and being toxic fair enough but if he's just questioning Martin needs to put his pride aside.

Don't think any of the players are comfortable in this system Fork and never will be, would rather a player voiced his opinion than stayed silent when it's effecting the team, a think players at Real etc would have problems with this system as their always seems an easy out for the opposition as the shots against us stats would portray, he probably said what we all are thinking play this way on Sunday we get pumped but change it we would have a good chance to win.

My star come on mate, these discussions take place regularly esp after defeat and manager or more often asst or head coach are always available to take on opinions and be open to discussion. In modern game leadership groups meet regularly with gaffer to discuss this very thing. If players are deliberately not following in game tactics then that's a diff story.

So he takes the feedback and discounts it . I then would be expected at my work to follow the system; if not I leave. football isn't any different but whilst I was there I would be required to follow the system or be taken out the front line.
If Raskin is in the right here why is it that there are reports that the senior players aren't backing him and in fact are actually supporting Martin in removing him from the squad. would they do that if it was just for voicing his opinion. that seems unlikely to me.
I see similarities here with the players and Clement but that doesn't tie in with what fans think about Martin. Until we have played who will pull in same direction as the club then we will get nowhere. doesn't matter if they agree they still need to do what they are being paid handsomely for.

When what you are doing is failing in every context and you keep pushing, then strong characters will question your approach. Happens in everyday life. Some will agree for nothing more than self preservation because they can't be bothered anymore or are young and wish to remain under the radar.
We have reduced the wage bill, selling players whilst brining in loans and still failing on the field. The business maybe be improving but the product isn't. The so called delivery strategy isn't working so it needs to be challenged.
