Just got to watch the dundee game last night.
Some observations.
1. Aarons vs Tav: I'm not convinced that Aarons (on current form) is a better RB. All I would say is, Tav is PART of the old squad that constantly failed so therefore i'd say Aaron edges it just now as he has no scar tissue.
2. Rothwell: I think he gets a raw deal in general on here and especially for the game vs Dundee. I thought he collected the ball consistently on Sat and tried to keep it moving and constantly looked for the forward pass. Sometimes there was no movement in fron of him. Not his fault. Very tidy calm player. can't seem to last a full game though concerningly.
3. Cameron: smashing wee player. Never stops trying to play a killer pass and create space.
4. Jefte: I've given him stick in the past for his decision making and switching off, but last few games he's been much improved.
5. Same old weakness defending set pieces. Its harder to defend than attack crosses into the box but why do our CBs struggle so badly? Poor starting positions? Lack of aggression? Lack of concentration? I don't know.

What's yer thoughts athole on our manager getting called the head coach and the head coach being a weird dude that only eats herbivore stuff representing our club wearing a tee shirt?

Who cares what he wears and eats, its 2025 how many head coaches wear suits?
Hes coupled up with Lucy Pinder, if she told me to be vegan, I'd be vegan.

I am not sure Lucy is a vegan. I know Martin is a vegan as he has ulcerative colitis and he adopted that choice to improve his health.
re the t-shirt how many of the top 5 managers in the EPL wear a shirt and tie on the trackside. all of their clubs in the past would have had the tradition of the managers wearing that although I think it was more down to dress styles of the time. do we get a goal of a start if he wears a shirt and tie; if not it has no bearing on the result of a game.
re coach the term "manager" generally encompasses a broader role that includes not only coaching but also team management, player recruitment, and strategic planning. so he doesn't do that so can't be called manager surely.

Rothwell doesn't do enough for me that's all tidy player but we need more in that area of the pitch.

Looks smartly enough dressed to me. Saying that, I might draw the line if Stephen Pressley aka Worzel Gummidge was in charge. Do Dundee not pay enough for their manager to be able to afford a haircut.

Athole. How come our CBs cannot score headers from our corners yet most teams i the league have CBs/ players than can socre against us from their corners? We score the odd one but we also look vulnerable.

Rothwell need to dictate the tempo of the game that all starts from the 6 too many pass to CBs too many touches not enough Driving Runs, Not enough aggressive tackles! Raskin is the best 6 at the club Rothwell is a tidy player no doubt about it but not a 6 imo.

Utterly pathetic knocking the guy for how he dresses. It's correct to say our managers wore suit and tie. But has been pointed out numerous times, we currently have a head coach, not a manager so the dress code has changed. Maybe some people need to grow up.

I thought Cameron was pretty poor against Dundee, seemed to lack the energy he had shown on Tuesday night. Rothwell had a great game if all you want from your midfielders is playing the ball back and square. At one point he took a wee pass from Souttar and went back to where Souttar was before turning and playing a 5 yard pass. Not writing him off but he needs to be more aggressive in his passing and it would be nice if he got fit enough to play 90mins.

Utter nonsense that folk can not read a post correctly and understand that i only asked a question of an esteemed gentleman poster of the site. I never had a dig at how our "head coach" Manager looks in a tee shirt, suit and trainers as i only wanted an opinion of a hard working member of the public on his thoughts.
My personal thoughts are he looks far too hairy and hippy like for my liking but i'm biased due to my baldness and swav sophistication.
