Realistically how much can we expect for souttar? Last year njury prone and prone to mistakes especially in the air where I believe he loses around 5 goals a season. I'd say 2-2.5m
What I'd suggest is he worth more to us by keeping him, I think he is.
He's an experienced and he's in the leader group of familiar players. On his day he's exceptional. Any better he'd prob be mid- low epl level.
I think he could be worth keeping at that price. Over 2 year contract with small buy out next summer of day £3m and we won't stand in his way.

I'm still hoping he buys into RM and signs a new contract, one of the few Scot's in the team, he is good enough to play regularly in Scotland and Europe, even if not every week. We still need players who understand what's expected. If we have guys wanting rid of homegrown youth players deemed not good enough then we have to be holding on to the home grown players we have who are good enough.

Thats a fair assesment stevie, he's a good option, certainly played a lot more games for Rangers than i thought he would initially when he joined.

Less than £2M for a CB as good as Souttar is great business for the buying team. Imagine he'd not be short of 'suitors' at that price.

All about opinions storm and i respect yours like i do everyone on here but i personally don't think big soapy is vastly overrated by a lot of our supporters who do rate him, including myself ?I think he's the best centre half currently at Rangers and a good one at that ?.

Far too many mistakes in Souttar's game. I never understood why we signed him in the first place. It was strange at the time. I always ask myself when judging a player for us, would he get in Celtic's team, sadly the answer is no. We need much better in my opinion.

You can't have tav souttar butland and jefte in same defence and be realistic about challenging for title. Talking about lapses and mistakes costing goals there's a barrowload between them.

Floyd, to be honest its the toss of a coin. Scales has a couple of league titles and 12 champions league proper games with 1 goal and 1 assist. Souttar has neither. So Scales must be doing something right. I wouldn't have either in my starting 11.
