Some people going on about the lb position what I'd give for a sasa papac at the club again.
10 Jul 2025 17:30:03
Ryan I just posted similar mate.
10 Jul 2025 17:36:04
I can't remember him ever having a bad game, he was at least a 7 rating every game.
10 Jul 2025 17:55:50
He just seemed to stroll every game and always had a smile on his face, an great minds think alike butcher.
10 Jul 2025 18:03:08
He was a class act.
10 Jul 2025 19:04:26
Is he not just the same age as Vardy and then we could sign him, ? he was a fantastic LB though. had to check this but I remembered we had signed him as a CB until SWS moved him. inspired.

Would mind another David Robertson.

Sasa Papac was a class act and was nicknamed 'steady Eddie's by a good few of our supporters because you always got a good game out of papac and always around a 7 guaranteed, most games ?In my time of going to watch rangers, davie robertson was the best Rangers left back i seen, absolutely superb he was a flying machine and hard as nails ?Arthur Numan wasn't far behind him right enough ? Oh for a davie robertson as our left back just now ?.
10 Jul 2025 20:07:57
I'll take big Arthur Numan please.
10 Jul 2025 20:15:42
Good player. Still remember that time he said he had Messi in his pocket in an interview before the game and thought "why would you say that right before the return leg? " ?.
10 Jul 2025 20:21:33
Numan
Robertson
Munro
Best lb's I've seen play for Rangers in that order imo.
10 Jul 2025 20:26:29
What a player Davie Robertson was and never injured ??.
10 Jul 2025 20:35:07
Numan was multi levels above Robertson Coops. c'mon man. Robertson was a good player but Numan was different gravy.
10 Jul 2025 20:39:30
Sasa Papac was class! Reminded me of a baddy out a die hard film. A face only a mother could love but what a player.
10 Jul 2025 21:05:45
Me too Bee, Numan the best left back we have had in my view.
Could have played for most European teams, was a great player.
10 Jul 2025 21:20:44
Numan for me but papac not far behind after and uneasy start to his Rangers life he became a player of real heart at left back.
10 Jul 2025 22:01:56
I rate Arthur Numan highly but for me scotty davie robertson the best Rangers left back in my long time going to watch Rangers mate ?So no c'mon about it my friend it's robertson for me.
10 Jul 2025 22:09:32
Star no Ally Dawson in that list?
10 Jul 2025 22:13:23
Papac is a story which should convince people to give players time he was hounded under le guen whitest playing centre half Walter smith came in and converted him to left back and he became a top player for us .
10 Jul 2025 22:57:27
As much as a I liked Robertson, it has to be Arthur Numan as the best Gers LB for me. What a player!
11 Jul 2025 06:00:10
I think I'm the only person that thinks Numan overall wasn't that great?
I thought he was World class at PSV, and seemed to hit the ground running at Ibrox. And I know some of the guys on here will know exactly but he seemed to get injured after about 6 matches. Did his cruciate (I think) and for me didn't come back the same player.
When he came back I thought he was good but not great.
Davie Robertson and Laudrup, what a partnership! Loved Davie playing for Rangers thought he always showed up really well and surprised me he didn't earn more caps, but he did also get torn apart a few times in Europe.
But even with that, overall Robertson was a better, more effective and more successful Rangers player.

As one of older guys on here best left back for me would be Eric Caldow. Then Arthur Numan followed by David Robertson.
