Going by Barry's press conference today I actually think he's got the next 5 games to get the job. He had discussions with the new man and going by his replys to questions I don't think he is out of the running yet. He would not be my choice but don't be surprised if he lands it in the unlikely event we win next 5. My own choice would be Marco rose but time will tell.

I don't see BF getting the job. Even if he beats Celtic again this weekend. Only way I could see him getting kept on is if our new owners don't have their target in place or on time for the qualifiers and beginning of season.

I really wanted Barry to exceed expectations and put himself in the frame for the job but he hasn't and he's got absolute 0 chance of getting it.

Barry Ferguson's star shone bright during his playing days and has waned since. He unfortunately for him is not the calibre to manage Rangers full time. It takes more than a love for the club and beating your chest. It takes talent guile nous all of which Barry lacks.
