Thought we coped very easily playing most of game with 10 men. Well done Kelly, balogun and tav. 9 players on the park played well only negative for me is yet again dessers, his inability to hold the ball up is scandalous, simple passing and positioning again is head scratching. Igamane done more in 10 mins than dessers done in 85.

It was a difficult game for Dessers, the plan was never for him to hold up the play, he was playing to stretch the game which he did do until we went to 10 men. Unpopular opinion, he will be key next Thursday for us. Dessers strengths have never been hold up play, we see the best of him running in behind.

Tav was dire! Slack passing, getting turned inside out on the inside, and outside, poor clearances, and to top it off, getting megged. He's a spent force, who needs replaced next season.

The faults weren't hard to find my star. Your correct tho i don't like him as a player but anytime he does play well I'm always the 1st to praise him.

Tab was dire haha sunshine not sure what game you watched. Same tune out of you every week.
Dessers had a hard rubbish. Overly critical to pick him out as the only player that didn't hit the level.

Did he get megged? Yes! Was his passing poor? Yes! Was he getting skinned down the wing, and was too slow? Yes! Did anyone see his poor attempt at a pass with the outside of his foot which went straight out? Yes! Was he jogging back, half arsed, after getting caught upfield? Yes!
So, if anyone thinks differently, then they must have been watching a "different" game. ??.

I'm totally with you here, I couldn't believe that it took so long to get Dessers off and Igamane on. Special shout out to Kelly, the gloves are his. What about Balogun though, proving again that he's our best defender. I would honestly give him another year guys.

Tav was actually good last night. Made some very important clearances and tackles. Megs happen to all defenders.
Tav did give he ball away afew times but that's only becasue he was passing to Dessers who let the ball bounce off him every time.
Cerny as well was rotten. gave absolutely nothing.
Thought Yilmaz played well until he was taken off.
Kelly was good, his kick outs were maybe not always to a Ger but they were a lot further up the pitch than the usual kicks from Butland we have seen most this season.
And a good few saves as well.
Credit to Barry for making the decision to play Kelly.
Igamane came on and done more than Dessers in 10mins of play and must get played over Dessers from now on.

he was hardly even up field too, why can't people just say as a team we played well with a man down. to be honest i had the fear with 11 on the park never mind 10. to come out of that 00 was admirable to say the least.

Correct gees playing with 10 men for around 90 minutes and getting a good result in a draw with do me, said I'd be happy with a draw before the game and doing it with 10 men was a very good result, we're definitely still in this tie.

I think what is more important is that Igamane tried to get us up the park to relieve the pressure on the defence.
Dessers on the other hand was isolated at times and any ball up to him seemed to go straight back.

Sorry but if you are down to ten men it becomes very hard to find players when your holding the ball up
And besides holding ball up was never dessers strong suit.

Star, think you must have been watching a different game. If anyone thinks Tav played well then I'd make it into a specsavers advert. Williams was skinning him with ease and Tav constantly rushed into tackles and won nothing, in fact was bailed out by Sterling on a few occasions. His passing was again woeful, the guy is done and hopefully this is his final year in our jersey.

I thought Dessers done well last night considering how isolated he was. He was making good runs, and unlucky to get on the end of a couple. He had one really good chance where his turn and shot nearly paid off.

Just watched the game.
As much as it pains me to say it, thought Tav played well and Dessers worked hard off the ball - which was about as much as he could do under the circumstances.
Noticed a big difference in the defence with Kelly and Balogun as they're both very vocal.
Was good to see 'flair' players like Hagi and Cerny playing for the team.

I don't often get involved with who played well and who didn't, but in all honesty, from where I was sitting the least effective players in a stalwart performance were Cerny, Tavernier and Dessers. Yilmaz was too often unaware and from a standing start Kelly and Rice were very good, as were the rest of the team.

Star had they punished the few times he rushed in and missed tackles on or passed straight to them then we would all be sat here saying he has cost us again, just because it didn't result in a goal for them does not mean he played well. In his defence he got very little from Cerny as he was also rank rotten last night and lazy as well.

Aye, I forgot about the header. It did come in at some pace, and there were a few bodies in there, but his heading is not the best. I honestly didn't think he had a poor game considering the circumstances.
