On the subject on us all having our different views/ opinions regarding our goalkeeper position ie. should jack butland be dropped for the morra night and beyond with liam kelly taking his place or should we stick with butland etc, got me thinking of some our outstanding goalkeeper 's of yesteryear ?So guys here's my question to one and all ie.
Where does our greatest goalkeeper in our history andy 'the goalie' goram sit amongst the greatest goalkeepers each of us has seen in our lifetime ?I've said all along that in my time of watching football in these shores, only peter schmeichel was better than our very own, the late, great andy goram ????
Goram was phenomenal and undoubtedly world class and imo no Rangers keeper in my lifetime is near as good as 'the goalie' was ?

Unfortunatly i could go on and for as much as I thought Goram was outstanding he was certainly not amongst the greatest of all time conversation.

As for Rangers goalkeepers I would put him third behind Steffan Klos and Chris Woods.

I can go back to George Niven, Billy Ritchie and for me top four would be Andy Goram, Chris Woods, Alan McGregor and Stefan Klos.

Goram undoubtedly the greatest glasgow Rangers keeper for me Asa, not even a shred of doubt imo ? Everyone entitled to their opinions though and goram better than cech and barthez for me ?.

Goram was the best Rangers keeper easily in my opinion and for a couple of seasons only Buffon was better.

Asa, For me a fit Andy Goram was the best I've ever seen.
People often refer to the Gordon Banks save being the greatest ever. I seen Goram make better.
If he had the mentality of a Schmeichal and looked after himself he would have been even better which is hard to imagine. But for me he was better than those you mentioned.
Yes they may have had better careers but doesn't make them better.

Goram was top 3 in Rangers goalies, never world class as asa says.
His first three months fan wanted him dropped.
