Got to laugh on here. Posters saying diomande isn't cut out for Scottish league (which one would assume that means the aren't impressed by his performances in it) . But then in the same post they would say £15-20 million would be a fair price. Baffling, as you can't suggest that valuation is based on Europe alone.

Orange it's not very hard to spot Diomande capabilities as a footballer mate unless you don't have any clue about the game, but many times you don't see it in our league that's not very hard to understand either, but his performances in Europe gets him that kind of fee, very talented cm and it would be better for his sake in him getting out now.

Bassey went from a bit part player to a mainstay in the team with some wonderful performances in the Europa League run.
And his price went through the roof on those performances.
It all comes down to how much a club wants someone and is willing to pay.

Diomande doesn't always seem to be cut for more physical low block football. But in open games he seems to be everywhere and knows how to score big goals think he's scored in his last 3 or 4 games against that lot also.

Plenty of players have come to Scotland and been poor. Very poor, average underwhelming and so on.
It's a different game up here altogether. Dio is a class player and in a different league would be top drawer.

Ryan i also fewl he's far better suited to european games. A bit like hemdani was. Willing to give him a pass the dundee game though as he woukd have been running on empty for ramadan.

My star, really arrogant to take the view point that anybody who doesn't rate Diomande as highly as you doesn't have a clue about the game . He has had some good games and in others shows in flashes but I don't remember him ever dominating a midfield like a multi million rated player should be able to do up here .
There are a lot of people on here who have followed Rangers for a long time and seen midfield players way above any level that Diomande has achieved up to now .

Diomamde is a player. We don't always see his best against the fast and furious, the hammer throwers. I agree he should flee and flourish and he will. No surprise he shines in Europe. We need a payday when he goes. Good player!

You can say they will be good in another league, doesn't help us one bit, all above have been failures in spl.
Imo bassey was excellent in the league as well as Europe. We will never get 15/ 20 million unless his form in spl gets better.

How many times have we seen good players from England come up and struggle when everyone says they will 'skoosh' it up here, lol.

Bassey was not that great from the off, made plenty of mistakes and eventually grew into the team, he hit form for six months and that's what got us the deal.

Boy blue give it a rest, most of our title winning teams have been players that were great in other leagues. It's not very often we sign someone from within Scotland that is instrumental in us winning the title (yes exceptions like Boyd, Kamara, Novo) if we stuck to your plan we wouldn't be winning anything.
I have seen loads of people say that Diomande is terrible and not having a great game or is too lightweight etc but in that same game he has 2 assists. He isn't an all round midfielder, he is great at taking the ball under pressure and turning his man. Got stuff to work on obviously but the talent is 100% there.

My Star, I previously asked you what you saw in Diomande and you couldn't answer as I recall . You also rave about Yilmaz who is another we have spent big money on, for us, and is absolutely hopeless. It was actually embarrassing watching him cross ball after ball into the crowd and pass to dark blue jerseys last week but of course he must be good because you think so.
You are in a very small minority who rate both these underachievers.
