Sws been saying it for weeks mate, to the point most folk will be sick I reading it. Sergio Conceicao is my choice, adaptive, pacy attacking football, gives youth a chance, won multiple titles and cups with Porto in a much more competitive and stroger league and done well in Europe, also currently unattached so wouldn't cost a penny, all shot opinions though mate just can't see what mcinnes would offer and some folk on here are saying at least he sets up well against Celtic, problem is we need to beat them not set up to not get beat.

got to admit thought PC was going to be the real deal he was saying the right things about players injuries we were getting not to bad results but slowly over the piece it has all crummbled no plan no style onlyPC seems to know the system think he has to go who replaces him ido not know DM to me had his chance and said no.

I disagree with your opinion and I’ll shout from the roof that PC has set us back 5 years but I appreciate that you have the baws to come on and face the music.

SWS - the majority of rangers fans now want Clement out as he had proven himself to be a total charlatan of a man - absolute fraud as a football manager. If he had any shred of decency, he should realise that and resign.

I think we should make Derek McInnes our next manager, no more gambles on foreign coaches. A Scotsman that knows our league and organises his players and gets them to fight. We need a stable couple of years, the guy might just surprise a few of our demoralised fans who doubt him .

If PC is to go then can only be as part of a negotiated package (which I hope was part of the ‘extension’ agreement) . Incoming would have to be a player that can mould much of what we have as clearly we are in no financial position to replace many, unless miraculously some are sold…
As for McInnes… really? Cannot believe this. 2nd worse defensive record in SPL, multiple red cards and a stylish long ball game. How on earth can that take us forward…
I agree we are likely to have to go down the inexpensive foreign or out of work route. Don’t see an outstanding affordable candidate who is a ‘guarantee’ as for Carrick, nice idea but the way he’s going with ‘Boro’ feel he’s unlikely to want to come up here.

Mciness for me isn’t the answer. When was the last manager we had that actually changed formation from their favoured playing style? Warburton didn’t, nor Gio, not clement. Gerrard at least won a league but is it that Clement’s formation is ineffective or do the players just not have the attributes to play the way he wants to?
Either way mcinness took aberdeen so far and their fans got fed up with the style of play and not progressing. Mcinness hasn’t done anything at a high level to give me the confidence he could topple Celtic.

I agree with EHL. Cycle of sacking managers every autumn is getting us no where.
I am not convinced by Clement but I am equally unconvinced spending 5 million or so getting rid of another manager will improve anything.
I don't think PC is a bad manager, I think we are a basket case of a club with a squad of players who are not good enough.
But then again I could be wrong and unlike Gio and MB this time it could be the magic bullet that fixes everything overnight.
The only league title we have won recently was at the end of a project with a manager we gave time to build something.
I still think that's the only way we get success over a Celtic with much better resources than us.

I'm on the fence. We can't keep changing managers every time results go against us but I totally get why people want him out. I'm not sticking up for clement as an individual. I'm more saying the process of changing managers and paying them huge chucks of money in the process needs to stop as I belive that sets us back more in the long run.
I was at the game yesterday and it's a bit alarming the number of times players were getting themselves into a spot of bother and not really getting any help. The one where jefte was running back towards goal with a utd player on his back (who ended up fouling him) and propper pretty much stood static and watched.
That makes me worry what kind of team spirit and work ethics are being fostered within the team. When that's not happening it makes me think it's time for a change but then I refer back to what I said at the start.
