It seems to me that this is exactly where we hit the jackpot! When we go for young players we seem to do well whereas the 'older' more experienced players we sign have been a bit more hit and miss!

Just my thoughts so calm down. I'd like to gauge our fans opinions.
If Morelos and Kent weren't to sign new deals before the end of the window would you want both sold?
Personally I feel for what we paid for Kent £7m ish then we couldn't risk letting his contract run out and receive nothing back for him, where as we only paid £1m for Morelos. I'd keep him and hope he would sign a new deal like Goldson did.
I would love both to sign and feel champions league is crucial to them signing ?? but we could afford the financial hit on Morelos but not Kent.

Both kent and morelos so important to our team and superb players i hope and pray we can keep ?These 2 players win games on their own for us a lot of the time, simple as that fellow bears ??? Would be very difficult to replace either of them total match winners ?.

Champions League money is 30m minimum. If Kent, who is fit, helps us get there that eclipses the 7m we originally paid for him. Plus he was outstanding in Europa last year, just wish he'd scored in the 118th minute of the final. If we get Champs League I'd keep both personally.

Kent is harder to replace than Morelos in my opinion
We need to push the boat out for Kent and maximise our return on investment, and try and keep him at our club
Every year with Morelos the same s**t, no club come in for him so his agents then ask us for more money
Very good player, but just a never ending drama with this dude
FYI no player is bigger than our club.

I love and rate both kent and morelos highly but i agree with SydneyGer that kent would be the harder to replace ?He makes space for his teammates constantly by drawing 2 sometimes 3 opposition players to him like a magnet ?Why because opposition players are terrified of kent and his ability ?
The season before last he had an outstanding season in both goals scored and assists ?He should be hitting the double figures in goals scored every season and has to brush up on that ?No need to brush up on his assists as they are superb and his ability is never in question ?.

With Bassey going everyone's desperate for 2-3 big signings but we have to remember the wage structure. Bassey was on a rumoured 5k/ wk so unless we can offload some fringe players or a high earner like Roofe we just can't afford 3 new high earners along with Kent and Morelos extensions.

Tav has got better as he has gotten better players around him and better managers. Players and tactics that help to get the best out of him. He frustrates me at times but mainly because we know what he's capable of so we demand that level all the time. Once Tav retires we will recognise him as a legend but until then I'll still slaughter him if he doesn't bring the required levels ?.

Team looked really good tonight against a quality side. New signings settling in nicely and 2 more still to make their debut. Feel we still need a LB to challenge Barasic but happy with the work done so far.
