The club have already released a statement saying that Gassaman will not be sold unless we have a replacement in place to come in.
We have a few wingers we have enquired about, but none of them have come to us so far. From what the club has said, they are working to complete the Kelsy deal and then see if anything else comes in.

Gassama has been informed by the club he will not be leaving this window, according to Rangers Review, and the club instantly rejected bids from Spain and Italy for the player.
McInnes spoke highly of him after Aberdeen, and has been seen giving him a lot of time during open training sessions and pre-season, so clearly believes he can improve Gassama.
Not saying it 100% won't happen, as I don't know that, but I'd say I'm more confident in him staying and having a better impact than last season as well.

On current form Gassama is easily the best winger / attacking player in Scotland - if he was playing fr them figures of 30 mill would be bouncing about the tabloids -
And I wish I was in the recruitment team - I'd of signed Shankland the January when Clement was there and we'd of won the league.

I do hope McInnes can improve Gassama, but I hae ma doots - the boy doesn't look up and play easy option and release ball at right time - head down charging, and bit too greedy for me - I would take the cash rather than hoping for vast improvement as a project. 🤔 👍

I think Raskin could be persuaded for Besiktas (probably knowing he could move into top 5 league if he performs there). Being Postive, if a fee works for us, would it involve:
Swap (Cerny) + cash and could we make enough to help Cerny wages
Or
Straight cash allowing us to find a replacement or two in time (assuming we have been searching for likely replacements already.
Not unrealistic given Raskin has sat out of last few games).
Romano is usually accurate, and I suspect Rangers would not wish to jeopardize a big potential sale, if the player wants it.
Time will tell.

Straight swap for season on loan with Cerny and Raskin would be only option if no obligation on Raskin deal, anything else leaving Raskin with one year left after loan makes no sense for us, but a lot of things make no sense with us. 🤷🏼♂️

Celtic's new Colombian winger/forward is by far the best player in the country.
Nygren is better than Gassama too, different players but I'd take Nygren all day as he has an end product.

The Americans should go imo - they have zero expertise in running a football club and it shows - this has to have been the worst multimillion pound takeover of a club ever -
To make the squad they inherited much worse takes some doing!
