Sorry it's been a while since I posted folks
Met up with my friend this morning, not great news and I think we are going to be a disappointment fan base come Thursday
Kelsy and 1 loan is what he has heard (winger) & possibly a LB. If Raskin, or Barron leaves then another will sign but it will not be Lewis Ferguson.
Rommens injury is worse than expected and we are still enquiring if a suitable LB becomes available.
My friend is adamant we have only ever made one enquiry for cerny. He strongly believes this hype is poor typical journalism from Turkey.
As much as there is still a lot of time, our outgoings we are struggling with.
No bid officially for Raskin since Rennes
No bid for Barron officially as of yet
Cameron could go out to another SPFL side 2 teams have asked.
McCausland could be heading to MLS or league 1 England
Miovski is the only player with concrete interest with dutch and French interest.
Souttar wanted to leave under Rohl, the club expected him to move early in the window. He was very vocal that he wanted to leave. Even though Derek is in charge and I was told Souttar done a 360 on his decision he has burnt his bridges. This is all from Tav leaving.
I love our club dearly, I always try to bring as much information as I can but what I am hearing I actually feel sorry for Derek, we have a lot of toxic individuals who should not be at our club.
01 Sep 2026 10:52:54
Not in the slightest bit surprised with Souttar being toxic - guy always cared more about playing for Scotland. then was posing for pics in Kitty O'Shea's with the Scotland team last year - was vice captain of Rangers at the time.
Absolutely should not be happening.
01 Sep 2026 10:53:03
Brilliant WATP. Excellent update and all rings true.
01 Sep 2026 11:00:05
Outwith Souttar, who else is toxic WATP?
01 Sep 2026 11:09:53
Wishy, wouldn't normally comment on individuals but bear in mind this is just murmurings from the TG.
Miovski - wants out, terrible attitude in training.
Aasgaard - Brat. Thinks he's better than he is and not happy at not being a starter every week.
Raskin - what he perceives to be in the eye of the fans isn't what is seen behind closed doors.
Look back at BF comments from his time in charge. This is the biggest one that people don't see and is hard to believe for some. Hence the drop in price.
When we're playing matches with 6, 7 maybe 8 guys who either want to leave, or know they aren't wanted, it filters down through the team. Soon as we're rid, the better.
01 Sep 2026 11:12:12
If I'm honest, I think we've signed far too many & mostly for CDM/CM, RWs was really needed & defence. Whilst our midfield wasn't brilliant, they weren't the worse & all we needed was a creative & goal scoring midfielder. I really hope we don't sign Ferguson as he's the complete opposite of what is needed in midfield imo.
As for Souttar, he can leave for all I care, as he's been here long enough, paid well & hasn't been anywhere near as good as people think.
He was rightly dropped by Rohl & instead of getting head down & improving, he went into a sulk. Tav too was rightly not started as he was injured. No one man is bigger than the club & if Souttar did make a fuss about Tav, then it further adds to the rumours they tried to get Rohl sacked & who knows if they done the same with Clement, Gio, & Beale.
Don't know how you can have a completely new team, got rid of the old leadership & have toxic players already.
01 Sep 2026 11:22:21
The misinformation that is spread about Souttar on here is verging on ridiculous, and it's something I've never been able to get my head around.
01 Sep 2026 11:35:57
Ehl, why not clear it up then mate?
01 Sep 2026 12:02:22
Souttar would take half an hour to do a 360.
01 Sep 2026 12:10:57
Why would him posing for pictures in kitty o sheas rule someone lol. Please don't tell me it's because it's an Irish boozer?
01 Sep 2026 12:17:32
Good info WATP. Thanks mate. Don't listen to negative comments. 👍
01 Sep 2026 12:22:41
Brilliant Big Dado.
WATP. Think most of what you have stated is transpiring. I know nothing of the claims against individuals' character, but having spent many years in dressing rooms, it's common that there are cliques who form when not part of playing squad and seek to disrupt the manager's plans - it's not just a Rangers thing, hence why most managers can't wait til window shuts.
As I have stated, we are using the fact our window is slightly extended to see what happens at close of window today in the top leagues. This will allow us to assess - firstly who is still here (including Raskin, Barron, Miovski and Aasgaard in terms of potential outgoings) alongside a few we seek to move on (McCausland, Cameron, Souttar, Nsiala) and also who may be available in terms of loans IN from big 5 leagues, should we have gaps to fill (from that first list of potential outgoings).
You will not be surprised that once tonight's window shuts across Europe, other teams have players surplus to requirements and their agents will be keen to offload them to teams where the window is still open. Therefore, let's not panic until we see what transpires, as there may yet be a couple of surprises to come.
It's just crazy to think we have brought in 13 new players and yet seem so far away from where we need to be, but we were never going to turn this ship in one window.
01 Sep 2026 12:23:43
Don't remember Barry Ferguson ever saying anything bad about Raskin, just that he tried to do too much at times, and that he had to have discussions with him about his best role. I'm a know nothing, but I just don't believe Souttar is toxic.
If that's the case, why did we offer him an extension when his deal was running out, and why did 2 managers give him the captaincy, or did he just become toxic in the last couple of weeks of last season? I do agree that he seemed to put Scotland before Rangers, but he's not a dyed in the wool Rangers man so that's not really surprising, and didn't Ryan Jack do that once or twice too, so was he toxic?
01 Sep 2026 12:27:22
Ehl, I always respect your thoughts and insight but I can assure you the Souttar one is spot on.
Rohl wasn't impressed with this legacy of leaders such as Tav and Souttar. I ain't going to go into it in full but Souttar made a few remarks about Rohl.
Rohl spoke to him and he informed Danny he would like to leave as soon as possible.
The club would not stand in his way and he was free to speak to clubs all summer.
When Souttar found out it was Derek, he informed that he was willing to play for Derek.
However, the club told him it was best for all parties that he found a new club.
Now I personally think this is completely unacceptable for a player to act in this manner, and I feel for Derek that instead of getting to build bonds, he's had to deal with this rubbish.
I am not going into a list of who's been naughty and nice, but I am certainly not impressed with Raskin either and I personally hope he goes.
Trust me, there are reasons why Raskin isn't getting bids, his reputation has caught up with him.
01 Sep 2026 12:29:06
Some people OT, bonkers mate. 👍
01 Sep 2026 12:30:16
Out of all that has been posted here, I don't care about the transfers as the club will deal with it, if and when they can, but.
Stating we have many toxic players is a huge concern, as I thought we had got rid of the majority of the so-called problem players.
So, that is my major concern, as toxic players tend to make the whole place a toxic environment, and that isn't great when we have just added loads of new players.
01 Sep 2026 12:31:14
What a strange post. At so many levels.
01 Sep 2026 12:31:57
Any info is gd info, even if it's out there, keep it coming WATP appreciated. 👍👍
01 Sep 2026 12:32:05
I don't listen to the negativity, I am long life Rangers fan with a building business.
My friend is in the club, and I am very, very grateful that he allows me to share information. Don't get me wrong, I have overshared the Souttar situation, but I am disgusted about individuals at our club.
I am a newcomer to this page, and I think almost everything I have stated has come true, if papers got there first on some occasions, big woop.
I just try my best to give you what I have, I strongly believe there is only 1 person on here that has unbelievable information and that's Wullie.
EHL, Wishy, Mystar, love reading your stuff.
01 Sep 2026 11:38:50
WATP, Kelsy, any only one loan signing? Certainly not what I'm hearing.
01 Sep 2026 11:40:19
Watp, good update off what's in papers, and I'm here for weeks.
01 Sep 2026 11:40:46
I'm just interested to know if Souttar has done a 360 or a 180. 😂
01 Sep 2026 11:42:54
Obviously, if EHL could, he would, so he has his reasons for not doing so.
01 Sep 2026 11:44:17
On Souttar, can we get our weekly murmurs to clear up the situation.
01 Sep 2026 11:44:19
That's absolute pish about John Souttar. We should start up a new section in this page for BS.
01 Sep 2026 11:47:06
Probably cause it's private, Stevie, but genuinely at a loss as what it could be as if it was health wise he wouldn't be training.
01 Sep 2026 11:47:21
Maybe because it's no one's business?
01 Sep 2026 11:55:44
Thanks for the info. I hope it's not all true, but we definitely have to try and get rid of surplus players so that we can strengthen in the January window, as I think it's too late to bring many more in now.
I'd actually come to an agreement with Souttar to end his contract. Better for all. We wouldn't be getting much for him anyway.
I'd also consider a bit of end of window sale for the fringe players and compromise on the fees to save on wages and trim the bloated squad. e.g. McCausland, Cameron etc.
Probably same for Aasgaard, as long as we get our money back from what we paid last year - save the wages.
As for Gassama, if we get £10 to £12m then sell.
01 Sep 2026 11:55:01
Amo, explain to me how you know for definite Miovski has a poor attitude in training mate because none of us knows that imo. 🤔
01 Sep 2026 12:02:13
Aren't most of the transfer windows closing today?
01 Sep 2026 12:33:32
Re Souttar, no chance there's anything wrong with his attitude. Say what you like about his ability, but he flings himself in front of absolutely everything. I can see him falling out with Rohl over how he treated Tav, but in my opinion that's fair enough. It was a disgrace.
The Kitty O'Shea's thing is pathetic. Absolutely embarrassing, a grown man has typed that. I've had a season ticket in the Copland Road all my days. If I'm out with my mates and they want to go into Kitty O'Shea's, then who cares.
And I'm not celebrating going to the World Cup. I used to work the odd shift in an Irish theme pub because it was owned by the same company as the pub I worked in - if you name any Scottish Rangers player from the 9 in a row era, right through the 00s, pretty much every single one of them had a pint in there at some point. I reiterate, absolutely embarrassing comment.
01 Sep 2026 12:40:10
"I am not going into a list of who's been naughty and nice." tells us he won't be Santa, but then lists Souttar, Raskin and Tav as behaving badly.
This place is weird sometimes.
01 Sep 2026 12:40:11
Next he'll be smuggling stuff in his coffee beans, then needs a physio from all his illegal smuggling giving him a bad back when he has to pick up his wedge£ in London off the Barron.
Connor Barron is in no way affiliated with any wrong doing. 🎣😇😉😄
01 Sep 2026 12:40:16
It's actually wild, Fork. Bet they don't ever try Guinness either. It's utter nonsense, just to make out you are so staunch, it's not even funny. Boring.
01 Sep 2026 12:48:28
Why do Irish bars or having friends with Celtic players always be brought up?
You would be shocked how many players join the Old Firm and have friendships.
Souttar's problem was with Rohl, and he wanted to leave the club. He changed his mind, and the club think it's best he moves on.
Nothing to do with Irish bars.
01 Sep 2026 12:49:09
Are we signing a left back then Watp891, and if we are, who do you reckon, mate. 🤔🇬🇧
01 Sep 2026 12:50:33
If we were trying to sign another left back I'd like either Will Ferry or Manny Longelo. 🤔
01 Sep 2026 13:03:51
Sir Walter, we have made an enquiry to Coventry, Jay Desilva. Out of contract soon. We are going in with an offer of around 4 to 5 million.
01 Sep 2026 13:06:45
Orange, can't beat a pint of Guinness.
01 Sep 2026 13:14:48
Laughable OT. 👍
01 Sep 2026 13:19:42
Jay Da Silva is a good player, WATP, but he has been starting for Cov, surely they won't be selling him to us.
01 Sep 2026 13:25:03
Guinness is stinking. Don't know how anyone can drink it.
01 Sep 2026 13:25:35
Wishy, I was told that Coventry are looking to bring in an LB and therefore he would be allowed to leave.
I think it would be a fantastic signing mate.
01 Sep 2026 13:25:58
Jay Da Silva for 5 million, surely you're at the wind up.
01 Sep 2026 13:43:43
Regarding the Raskin attitude, remember how he downed tools at previous club before joining us, Barry Ferguson / Neil McCann said very candidly he is "very opinionated", which to me translates as a very polite way of saying he answers back, thinks he knows better than his coaches and probably just in general has a bad attitude.
I hope to see the back of him.
Also think about the last 2 games he hasn't featured. People speculate it's because the Chermiti incident has put an air of caution around him in case there is an offer. But it has been said there are no offers. So maybe there is something deeper.
01 Sep 2026 13:50:33
Raskin is still a Rangers player after the window shuts, he better get it into his head he ain't no 6.
01 Sep 2026 14:15:37
Yeah agreed WATP bud it woud be a top signing.
Gerrardout, spot on it is an embarresing comment but nearly as embarrassing as your name.
01 Sep 2026 14:46:58
SWS, read my post again. Then ask a sensible question. 👍🏼
01 Sep 2026 15:03:47
Fork, you're a very opinionated individual. Relax. The most sassy replier ever, man.
01 Sep 2026 15:23:51
Why thank you Lovenkrands, very kind of you. 😉👍
01 Sep 2026 15:32:45
Wishybear, Gerrard was backed to the hilt with money, and he won one trophy out of nine available. He let St Johnstone win a cup double in a year when Celtic absolutely fell to bits. He was a terrible manager, people just couldn't see it because his name was Steven Gerrard.
01 Sep 2026 15:45:50
Am I the only one who would give Raskin a new contract to tie him down if he is still here on Friday?
01 Sep 2026 15:48:24
Backed to the hilt?
We spent 3m after winning the league.
He got round about 10-12m each of his 3 summers to take us from the likes of Jason Holt and Josh Windass to winning the league.
Look at the money we have spent since, 30m nearly this summer, without adding Kelsey, round about the same last summer.
Beale spent more in a window than Gerrard ever got in one window.
The disrespect the guy gets on here makes my skin crawl.
01 Sep 2026 16:35:56
So there we go.
Derek has come out and said what I said a few hours ago. My understanding, after Kelly, is they are still looking for a loan or a purchase for a winger.
Raskin has had no bids.
Cameron off to United, the other club was St Mirren, btw.
I expect news about McCausland tomorrow.
01 Sep 2026 16:57:11
WATP, we all enjoy your fact filled posts, but there's only so many Crackerjack Pencils we can hand out.
01 Sep 2026 17:17:33
Ignore the slaggings, WATP, your posts are always the first I look out for.
