Few things from same friends who mentioned a few of the others I've put up over the course of the past 5 months
On our WhatsApp chat last night
Wasn't going to bother putting this up, as most of it is already in the mainstream media etc., but I will. Probably be my last update for a while.
Apparently, we want the striker Kelsy, but his club don't want to lose him. We're still negotiating, but they're playing hardball and there's a chance we won't meet their demands.
the chat around Siquet deal isn't dead, despite what's been written in the tabloids. We're still pursuing it and trying to get a deal done with his club.
The young RB from Aston Villa is another one we're enquiring about and looking to see if a deal can be done.
Loan at this stage.
Another RW is also being looked at. From what I've heard, that would be a loan rather than a permanent move at this stage.
A few options being looked at
Haven't heard anything regarding another CB unfortunately although I think we badly need one.
As always, just passing on what I've heard.🤷♂️
Nothing concrete enough for me to put my head on the chopping block like I have done with others I've mentioned over the past months.

Tommy, it has been reported across social media and in the mainstream that the Siquet deal is effectively dead, unless I've missed something?
But as I've written, what I'm hearing is that it isn't dead and we're still actively trying to get him. In fact, I'm hearing he remains the preferred option for that position ahead of the other names being mentioned.
I'm not really seeing anyone else saying that at the moment, so I guess that could be classed as adding something new to the discussion?
Unless you're hearing something different that you can add?
As I've said, I'm only passing on what I'm hearing.
I take the tabloids with a pinch of salt and don't pay too much attention to them. I'm far more interested in hearing information from people I trust and reading what others with decent sources are hearing.
That's the whole reason I share what I do. 👍

I'd imagine we will go for another cb if Fernandez is sold, or same with Souttar.
If it's Fernandez, then it's likely to be a good player that's costing a few quid; if it's Souttar, I'd imagine it's more likely to be a loan or bosman type.
With Sterling able to cover there, I'd imagine focus is on the rb and wide positions, and a striker for now.

I agree, would be very concerning if were not looking at any CBs, given the strange situation with Souttar & the early form of Manny. We could be looking at needing 3 more CBs in.
