He is a young lad who was too heavily involved last year, basically no experience in senior football, and asked to play 3 games a week at a club like ours is asking a lot of the kid tbh. We shouldn't be bringing young loan players in to be 1st pick or, at times, only option in their position.

Some of the comments are unreal on here - Guy was 18, loaned in - had to deal with Russell Martin chaos - first ever season in Scotland - did fine, at least as good as anyone else last season, the fans so harsh to say he's rubbish - room for him to improve and would be a good addition to the squad imo.

Meghoma was a decent player for his age. He will end up being a player that some deem not good enough for us, but will shine and come good elsewhere.

I personally don't feel Meghoma ever really let us down.
Did he make mistakes like any other player? Yes.
He was 18, was always available, and gave his all. Carried a huge amount in his own until we got Rommens in. I think he'd do a job.

He's not garbage but he's also not what we need. He'll do well in Belgium, but every single one of you saying we should sign him would be the first to slaughter the recruitment when the inevitable happens and teams start targeting him like our own manager did last season when we played Hearts.
He's too small and not physical enough to play at the back in Our league.

I really struggle with the ignorance from grown men and women who actually take time to ridicule and lambast young men who are elite athletes and growing in their craft. Yes, I get it that they can't hold a candle to the greats who have worn the royal blue jersey of the 90's and naughties - but give them a break. Would love to meet so many of you who appear to have succeeded in every aspect of life.

I'm thankful for my many failures as it has given me a character of grace when others aren't as perfect as the people who take time to share their disgust for those who have achieved something I could only ever have dreamed of.

Was Rommens performing better when Meghoma was here? I'd say by a fair bit. Did Meghoma do a job? Yes. Would I expect him to improve more for the experience? Again I'd say yes. He's ideal back up on LHS imo.

We could do a lot worse than signing Meghoma permanently. I thought he done really well for us considering he got thrown in at the deep end with the whole Martin debacle, plus the fact him only being young.
I hope he does end up at Brugge. I'm sure he'll be yet another name that makes them a healthy profit, something that we can't do on a regular basis. Best of luck to the boy wherever he ends up.

It is not so much that Meghoma did something wrong, I don't recall him making many mistakes, if any, it's about how he never actually did anything that stood out.
No great defensive moments and no great attacking moments.
