Reports online saying were still looking to sign 19 year old cb appeal victory. Thought we were now looking at experience rather than projects. Could be lazy journalism though of an old rumour possibly.

If true, it may be that we are looking to bring in several CB's and he is seen as backup not immediately a regular starter. With loans going back, King going, Sterling always injured, we are very light. I'm also sure that there are a pile of targets that we will be working on, and won't be signed in the order of priority that we want.

We need a mixture of both, we can still get experience, but we also need players we can develop and sell on for a profit. We need a player trading model to make money.

With the amount of players we need this summer, there will clearly be a mix, and it doesn't contradict what AC said, as he stated we would primarily focus on experience, and that doesn't rule out some project players still coming in.

It's been stated we only have 4 defensive players and there is a need for another 4/5.
No reason they all need to be winners/experienced. Likely 2-3 experienced and a couple of project types.

The difference between Moore and this guy is the positions they play. Young forward players can express themselves a lot more and will get away with mistakes without getting too much grief. A young defender, like any defender, won't be getting away with making any mistakes, especially ones that cost us games.
Remember Nsiala getting hauled off; must've ruined his confidence massively. Basically, defenders are scrutinized a lot more than forward players.

Ability matters more than age. If he's an outstanding talent who cares about his age? Curtis is 19 and he looks good enough to play for Rangers next season.
