Heard from a friend who said there was chat yesterday that we are looking at the Falkirk striker Stewart i think and also the left winger Miller. Both impressed me yesterday but haven't seen much of Falkirk this season.

Calvin Miller is a very good player. And a massive Celtic fan was in their end at quarter final at Ibrox, I'm sure. Ex Celtic youth player. Can't see him joining us.

IMHO I don't think we should be going for any "massive Celtic fan". Probably just me, but anyone described this way makes me think of O'Halloran. What a waste of time, money & effort. Once bitten, twice shy. I don't care about anyone's religion, but please no more MSFs.

Celtic just about signed Miller in January for around 1m, Falkirk manager wasn't having it, I've seen him play many times, hot and cold, been more hot than cold this season though, but I would honestly prefer Curtis in my team, Lissah and Stewart I'd like signed.

This whole "he's a massive Celtic fan" is a little over the top. Especially in this case. Went to school with Calvin. He wasn't a Celtic fan back then, actually the opposite, he supported us. Had trials with us but he never made them, then ended up at Celtic.
When you're actually playing, it doesn't matter who you support, allegiances go out the window.

I have heard that the Falkirk players we are interested in are Filip Lissah and Barney Stewart, 2 great young players.

Couldn't care less who they support. Only what they do for us. We missed out on loads of good players because of that attitude.

Players like Stewart and Miller are no brainers for me. Fairly small fees, not at the high earner bracket, and boosts the homegrown number for Euro squads. Don't care about Miller's background either.
The guy is a proper runner, which full backs don't enjoy, plus as a bonus he has plenty of experience at LB too. Stewart could be next big thing material or a might have been, but he's worth a punt to find out.

Never said Calvin wasn't a Celtic fan now. But he wasn't a massive Celtic fan at school, I can tell you that.
Even when he joined Celtic in high school, he still supported us up until we all left.
Even now, I wouldn't call him a massive fan of them, but they gave him an opportunity which I'm sure he'll be forever grateful for.
Again, when you're playing the game, allegiances don't matter.

Anyway, who cares, Brown is a Rangers fan, he gave everything to them.
