We're going to begin talks with Spurs over a permanent deal for Mikey Moore. This could be a second loan with obligation depending on if they will agree to it but either way we will be breaking our transfer record.

Skov Olsen deal is on hold for now. Will be looked at agan after the season ends but as it stands is unlikely to be pursued.

Talks with Wolves for a permanent Djiga deal will take place after Wolves relegation is confirmed.

Meghoma, Cornelius and Aarons will all return to parent clubs.

16 Mar 2026 18:15:01
Bear, thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

It does completely contradict what I have been told regarding Moore and Djiga.

16 Mar 2026 18:49:45
Would be good if we could use the Skov money towards Moore instead.

16 Mar 2026 19:11:16
I think we should sign Moore too. I think he's going to be some player. The problem is the £20m valuation.

We'd need to offer them a massive sell on, something like £10m upfront and 50% sell on.

I expect us to bid for Shiva if he keeps up his form till summer.

16 Mar 2026 19:22:07
Stevie, could it be the reverse of the discussion we had re Manny earlier? They may start with the £20m valuation but end up lower, with a higher sell on. So your guess on the deal could end up being what we pay.

16 Mar 2026 19:28:35
Let me say, firstly, I would love us to be able to sign Mikey Moore on a permanent deal for Rangers, but I honestly doubt it very much. ☹️ Our best chance of having Moore still at Ibrox next season will be another loan deal, which I would also love to be possible, but I also have my doubts about that happening also.

☹️ I think Findlay Curtis, when he comes back from his loan deal with Kilmarnock, will be Mikey Moore's replacement next season. ? For the record, I really rate and like young Curtis. ? ??

16 Mar 2026 19:43:35
Moore has looked good in flashes, but I haven't seen enough to be worth paying a record fee for. For over £12million we could get someone who is much better right now, and maybe even more than one player. His numbers aren't that good, and if it was Ryan Kent producing those numbers in goals and assists, he would be getting pelters.

16 Mar 2026 20:24:15
Aphelion, I was told up until last week we were unlikely to go for Moore and Djiga permanently, but this is new info from a good source who I trust.

16 Mar 2026 20:30:57
Very well could be the case indeed, Angus.

16 Mar 2026 20:44:12
I actually liked the look of Cornelius before he got injured. Pity he got injured; he looked a goal threat from set pieces. Him and big Fernandez would have been a handful.

16 Mar 2026 21:21:29
Big T, I liked Cornelius too.

I preferred him as a left back though. He had a bit of Papac about him, for me. He wasn't excellent at anything, but he was solid at it all. He's good back up for Rommens if the price isn't too high. Doubt we'll take him, though.

16 Mar 2026 22:24:21
If Djiga is true, then I'm delighted. I reckon he and Fernandez would be an excellent partnership to build upon.

16 Mar 2026 22:30:15
Guys, these new opinions of Djiga are the reason why I am even more certain that we should not write Olsen off.

It has taken Djiga 8 months, including a full preseason, to be comfortably amongst our best central defenders.

I said all season, and was slaughtered, that Djiga is twice the player of John Souttar.

16 Mar 2026 23:04:04
You may have been slaughtered for rating Djiga, but not in comparison with Souttar, because no one rates him. Still got huge question mark over him, and unless Wolves vastly reduce their valuation, I wouldn't be following it up.

16 Mar 2026 23:35:31
Aphelion, very good points you make on Djiga and Olsen.

You know far more about Olsen than me; I only knew he was a Danish international that Rangers had been interested in for a few years.

I so much hope you are right about him, as he clearly has the skill, poise, and technical ability.

The one worry I have is his personality and nature, which is difficult for anyone to change. I saw that a previous manager had described him as introverted, and I saw a reference to an interview he gave some time ago where he said he had "fallen out of love with football" and he just regarded it as a job.

On Sunday he didn't look too enthusiastic about coming on to the pitch, which was in very poor condition on a wet and windy day, when little football was being played.

Do you think he has it in him, personality-wise, to embrace Rangers, Scotland, and the SPL, with its own unique brand of football, and even all the madness that surrounds the game here?

I would love him to make a good contribution to 56 this season.

I hope you can reassure my friend Aph. Then we could both celebrate together.

17 Mar 2026 00:14:18
Aphe, that's a more than fair point u make regarding how opinions have changed on Djiga.

The thing now is, Olsen has 8 games to make us change our view about him. He's also likely to start, maybe, only half of them at most, so it's not looking good for him.

Best he could hope for, imo, is another loan next season, but we wouldn't pay that much again as we did this half season.

Personally, I don't think we'll take it up.

Too big a gamble.

17 Mar 2026 01:13:10
Mikey Moore has less goal contributions than Findlay Curtis this season in double the gametime btw.

17 Mar 2026 02:10:12
But he's good at ole ty og other things. Numbers will come.
Good at taking the ball and carrying it 50-60 yards. He's great at dragging defenders about. He's technically very good, and for an 18yo I think he's doing just fine.

17 Mar 2026 07:35:34
Once a Ranger. I think that's a valid concern. Yes, he's had great ability, and I think most of us were excited and wanted him in the past too. But it never worked out for him at a couple of different clubs now for some reason.

And, while it takes time to regain match sharpness, he doesn't seem to show a desire to make a difference or to impress in the time he's been given. Sometimes even good players don't suit certain clubs or leagues.

17 Mar 2026 08:02:31
Once a Ranger, he definitely has it in him, personality-wise, and I don't think it is fair to call into question his character.

He is taking time to get match sharpness, but what I do not like is the fact that we are not providing him with the platform to increase his confidence.

His performances have been dictated by confidence, not talent.

I think he will regain his confidence and be a star player, but I do believe we will see the best next season.

17 Mar 2026 08:23:47
I did read negotiations have already started a few weeks back. Reports stated that Spurs were happy to let Moore join Rangers, but any deal would require a big sell-on clause, so it would reduce initial cost and give Spurs first option on a buy-back. Very tactical from Spurs.

Remember, a sell-on clause is only on the profit of the initial transfer, so Spurs are making it affordable for us but still kind of retaining rights on a buy-back option. Moore supposedly loving life in ? with his girlfriend, so he himself may try to push this also.

17 Mar 2026 10:11:15
Aphelion, I don't think we should be writing off Olsen either.

17 Mar 2026 10:27:42
I would love Micky Moore being a Rangers player, but that will never happen. Well out of reach.

17 Mar 2026 10:34:59
Once A Ranger - that's why I don't want us signing Olsen. Seems to have a temperamental personality that affects his game. No doubt he has talent, and if he feels like showing it, he'd look a player.

That's the problem with this type, though. We can't hope he feels like it when we need consistency week in and week out. For me, at the price quoted and based on what we've seen, he'd be a firm no.

17 Mar 2026 11:04:20
Kasier, that isn't true, as there are still some fans on here who think Souttar is good enough.

Djiga would sign if price is right. Young, big CH, only going to improve.

Moore, I can't see us buying him.

Absolutely no chance, imo. Again, would sign if price is right.

ASO.
We just shouldn't be signing him based on what we have seen, I want a playmaker in the middle of the park, not out in the wing.

17 Mar 2026 12:14:57
If the people who run the club front up the cash to buy Mikey Moore, then there is no doubt that we should do it. Yes, put in a huge sell-on fee, yes, give Spurs first dibs on him, but what a signing and a statement that would be.

With regard to Skov Olsen, I would look to get another loan deal in, with an option at the end of it. Give him the pre-season he needs, and the players around him to let him see we mean business, and I firmly believe we will get this guy back to his brilliant best.

As for Djiga, I just don't see the player that many on here seem to see. I still don't rate him at all. We need better than him, and the best I would do is a similar deal to what I have mentioned above for Skov Olsen - an extended deal with an option to buy at the end.

17 Mar 2026 12:16:19
I'm told, if we win the league, then Skov will be signed, if we don't, then he won't.

17 Mar 2026 19:41:34
Derek Cornelius, I believe would be a good signing for us, although his age is a problem for ROI. It was not our fault he got injured. Would Marseille be open for another loan but with obligation to buy?

I know we were burned with obligation to buy before, but I believe in this case, we have a quality player who would only enhance the team. Aso, I have not seen enough in to pay the fee wanted, personally, and Djiga, I still get the fear at times, but way less than before.

Worth trying to get permanently if he continues his improvement.

I asked previously about Spurs relegation and a clause in the newly signed contract by Moore, so if there is one, then I'd definitely be up for signing him, but I still doubt we could afford to.

17 Mar 2026 20:27:14
Super, I've always said no re Cornelius, he won't be signing if he's been sent to train with academy.

17 Mar 2026 21:06:36
Why's he been sent to train with kids, John?
