Hearing the Broomloan will be out of action for the Aberdeen game, anybody heard similar?

I've just read a report saying that as well, but it states it's unconfirmed.

As I stated last night, the stand will be open for the Aberdeen game.

The amounts that are quoted are a complete exaggeration. Yes, the stand was in poor shape and the graffiti was shocking.

I was at Ibrox on Monday, and the initial concern was the toilets. There is still a bit of concern, but the team are working behind the scenes to get it fixed.

The one thing I think is important to remember, fellow bears, is damage and repair happens very frequently in stadiums that hold 50, 000.

I am only stating this as I feel a few fans think Rangers don't already have back up to these incidents, such as spare seats, contracts and maintenance employees.

I am not saying Broomland will be perfect come the Aberdeen game, but it will be open.

WATP, the Broomy toilets have always been in piss poor state - pun intended. The mhutants must have really done a number on them if the club is concerned about them after the OF game lol.

If it wasn't open, are Celtic liable for further compensation to us to cover anyone who misses the game? We would then have revenue loss from kiosks in the stand, as well as loss of wages for the staff who would be due to work, but who then wouldn't be required.

Anyone that creates damage like that, and I include folk that did the same at Parkhead, is scum, pure and simple. Same if anyone retaliates. If we do get fans at Parkhead last game, if anything, we should show we are better than that by not damaging stuff in return.

11 Mar 2026 19:39:24
100% agree, Forever.

Just shows the mentality of these people. I include all the idiots who carry out this vandalism, no matter where they are. What pleasure do people get from damaging other people's property.
I will never understand why they do this. They would be outraged if someone did it to their property, so why think it ok to do it to others.

Not sure how it works, but are visiting clubs held responsible for damage caused by their fans.

If not, in future would it not be sensible for all visiting clubs to pay a bond which would be returnable if the area is left in the condition it was in before the visit.
Probably not, though, as I can see a return to no away fans, which would spoil it for the majority.

Forever, it would be an absolutely brilliant way to showcase the club by leaving Parkhead immaculate.

imo, it's an idea that should be floated to the UB's and all fans: to make an actual point of leaving their stadium immaculate.

Could even clean up after ourselves just one time, as a tongue-in-cheek way of showing them up.

Have I taken that too far?

I genuinely mean that, though it would be a great idea.

12 Mar 2026 08:45:28
It does take a very 'special' sort of idiot to behave in such a way and that goes for both sides. It would be brilliant if we could leave their stadium with a victory and in pristine condition. Hoping for the first, and knowing that the second won't happen.

12 Mar 2026 09:46:25
Sadly, Seeker, you're correct, maybe. We'll never say never. I do really like the idea of making a point of it, but it's a pipe dream, isn't it?

12 Mar 2026 12:20:29
Aye it is, Stevie, unfortunately. ?

12 Mar 2026 16:03:40
I know a wee guy in the UB, he's ma wee bros pal. Am going to say that to him, to suggest it, mate, why not?

13 Mar 2026 10:50:11
Stevie, it would be a brilliant result. Alas, we plead with them not to use flairs, etc, at Ibrox and away to avoid UEFA fines, etc, and do they listen? Do they f***? What chance do we have to avoid damage to Parkhead when they don't give a s*** about what their actions cost their own club.

13 Mar 2026 12:39:41
Geesa, sadly you're correct, mate.
