My mate is one a that but he's a youth coach at a pro team so he hears some things so we talk players, he said he would like silas Anderson, but he's no heard if its true there sfter him or not he said on one of there sites says they have approached for aloan deal.

The reports in the papers today says that Celtic are front runners to sign Silas Andersen and there has been no approach from any known teams it was an undisclosed team that has made an approach which means the team does not want to be named till the deal is complete so that it does not inflate value.

Beef a medical will check if the player is currently fit to play. if a club is after a player with an injury that obviously isn't possible so they switch to a sort of risk assessment to see about the long-term prognosis of the specific injury.
However I don't think Rommens was injured more that he had been injured and now we are nursing him back to full fitness and not rushing it.
{Ed001's Note - they do both mate, they check their current fitness and do a risk assessment. They will also try and get copies of the player's medical history to look at and assess the risk of recurrence of previous injuries or what damage it could have done to the body. They will especially look for degenerative conditions like Demba Ba had with his knees which scuppered a number of moves for him.}

Cheers Ed. trying to show that being injured doesn't necessarily mean you can't sign a player just because he can't run (as an example). good to have more detail around it.
{Ed001's Note - oh yeah, it is not really about the current injury, unless something pops up that was previously undiagnosed. It is more about finding long term problems, it is really an insurance thing as much as anything.}
