Star he is contracted until summer of 2028 so think Hibs are in driving seat here. If they down accept bids unless they hit £6.5M then he won't go for less. 3 years on his contract is a good buffer and for a player who is likely to get better.
doesn't fit us atm because what we need are goals from our strikers supposedly and 1 in 3 isn't the sort of stats we need; unless those were all winning goals because I remember those are the only ones which count ?.

OT he will probably go for less but not until Hibs want to sell him for that. there is a theme on here of fans thinking they can buy the best Scottish talent or league talent for less than we would accept for ours.
History shows that other clubs, recently especially, haven't been willing to be bullied/persuaded to do that. with Bowie he is performing well at moment and has 3 years one contract so suspect the price is to scare teams off.

I noticed that Hibs have been linked with a striker from Sheffield Wednesday in this window, they may or may not have bid a million for him, depending on who you read. They already have Klidje who they paid a fortune for, that doesn't start regularly, so maybe there is some truth on Bowie leaving.

Very strong player and great at holding ball up, a like him and would try to get him in box more, defenders would know they were in a game if you played Chermiti and him both.

Interesting opinions of Bowie. I like the look of him but think because he hasn't shown consistent goal scoring form and still raw he's still a risk so the 3-4m range is what i'd out him at. One thing I'd would ask would anyone say he is more valuable or currently a better player than Barron? Folk on here seemed to rate Barron between 3-8m and i'd say he is far more accomplished and proven player.

Bowie has scored seven goals this season, which would make him our top scorer, so hardly a striker that doesn't score goals. What might suit us about him is that he is not a striker who needs space to run into like so many we have bought that have struggled.
