Had to wait to say something as needed to calm down. EHL so he was on the bench to appease the narrative from the club and Martin ripped that up to play him and threw him under the bus. I say it again all the issues with this massive rebuild would not be acceptable to a decent manager. PC was thrown under the but his tactics in the SPL was found out. Not defending Igamane but Martin says he told him he was injured, then questioned whether he was refusing to come on so giving the media a headline and distracting from the shambles created by him on the pitch. Now Iggy is the headline rather than 3 points from 3 games and being 7th in the table which will be worse once others catch up their games in hand.

If what Martin said is true then it's a disgrace. I really like Igamane as a player but who does he think he is, we took the chance on him last year when he was probably getting paid buttons and playing an even worse standard of football than the SPFL. He's still getting paid and should be doing as instructed. Hopefully we get a good deal for him this week. With that said, Martin starting a game against St Mirren without a striker would have pissed me off if I were him too, they can both go.

Everyone entitled to their opinion but to back a player refusing to take part in a match for his existing club when his team mates needed him is unacceptable.
Young Curtis (who in fairness since pre-season) has earned a place in the starting 11 on merit, sat on the bench last 2 games and with the right attitude comes on and makes a contribution.
Now I have no faith in Martin's philosophy, and his narrative lacks substance as his team is not 'possession based' 'runs harder' 'fights more' and he's clearly not the great 'man manager' he professes to be, but a 'professional' in any walk of life must act so.
Martin is not the first manager to question his attitude
That said we must now bite the bullet, move him on and replace with a first choice no9.

My interpretation of what EHL said in chat and this reply:
- Hamza wants out, issues with him and Martin
- A move is close/ done so Hamza asked but to be involved today so as not to jeopardise that move
- The club asked him to go on the bench to maintain the "hasn't been involved because he was injured" narrative so as not to spark headlines before Tuesday
- He agreed, but was never supposed to come on
- Martin, in a panic at his own ineptitude, scrapped that plan on the fly and tried to send him on
- Igamane refused per previous agreement
- Martin used this after the game to deflect from the result, even though he knew of the agreement and he was the one who reneged
Now, was Igamane right to refuse coming on? If his move is done/ close like those in the know tell us you can see his side of it. A player who plays with his freedom is never going to flourish in Martin's rigid structure. I would probably have come on and looked after myself so as not to make a scene, but that's just me.
But if the above is accurate, then the problem was caused by Martin, who was aware of the situation and called an audible.
And they, inexplicably, knowing he's called said audible he could have just said nothing after and dealt with it internally. He then chose to throw it out to the press emotionally.
Ultimately, the manager is supposed to be a leader. This wasn't anywhere close to leadership on his part, regardless of circumstances. And not for the first time. I get the impression he's your stereotypical "boss" as opposed to a leader.
But hey ho, just needs time.
