Trabzonspor are interested in a potential swoop for Rangers defender John Souttar, according to reports in Turkey.
The centre back only has a year left on his Ibrox deal and previously had an offer of a new deal on the table, which remained unsigned. It is unclear what the situation is now under new boss Russell Martin.
After Philippe Clement was sacked, Souttar admitted all discussions over his future were on hold while the club went through an uncertain period.
Now, there is serious interest from Trabzonspor, according to Ajansspor.

Some people can't see past Rangers atall. remember we are fans we love the club to him it's his work. Go to Turkey where is always warm and beautiful and for a extra maybe 15 or 20k or stay in Scotland for less coin than he could make somewhere else. Money and a better life has no sentimental values.

I think big Soutts is right to weigh up his options.
He loves the club but and end of the day he wants to be a regular, like EHL says especially in a World Cup year.
I love the big guy but wouldn't stand his way, particularly if he's only going to be a back up.
Who knows but I really don't see him going to Turkey. Perhaps English Championship or could go to Italy for a smaller side or something like that, he will have options.
But if the club and his ambitions don't match then he needs go this summer or we risk him walking for free, I'd say we could get 1.8million if we are lucky.

Turkish league is better than the spl easily although a don't think players should think twice before going to turkey in terms of John should be sold if he is not signing a new deal hopefully get 2/ 3million for him I think he's worth more but only has a year left.

Going by the fee we paid for fernandes and the fee for propper we shoild get more than £2m for souttar. International and you will 100% not get better than him for £2m unless an aging player.

John Souttar would probably be foolish to goto Turkey. However the package they could offer him would give him a fair amount of leverage in negociating what will be his last big move or deal. Kent, Barasic and Lundstram didn't go there for the Barbers, Teeth or love of Kebabs.

Souttar is a guy who will continualy let the team down when it matters. Countless games v Celtic where he's made basic costly errors leading to goals. i'd much rather we cashed in on him considering his age than offered him a new contract. Particularly when you consider the injury record he's got over the years. He would definitely need replaced though given how this Fernandez guy has looked so far.
