Could the pairing of Ferguson and Gilmour be the Rangers midfield duo that finally establishes Rangers back to the top?
I honestly believe it will happen, at what time I'm not certain of course but I believe it's a ready made natural progression, and I for one would welcome it with open arms.

I think Ferguson will be a Rangers player by next summer. I would have said last season there was a chance of Gilmour but he's been starting for Napoli this season so I reckon it could be a while before we see him in a Rangers shirt.

Both Billy Gilmour and Lewis Ferguson are very good midfielders, although different midfielders. 🤔 If we could only sign one i'd definitely prefer Billy Gilmour 👌🇬🇧.

What is Gilmours current value and salary.
Could we afford him if he wanted to come and Napoli we're willing to sell, far more creative than Ferguson.

Watching the two of them playing these last few matches I'm not sure I would say they were a better pair than Raskin and Neil .

My younger brother was around youth football across killie and Motherwell right up till he was 17 he was actually offered to go down to Brentford at 16 I can't remember the exact figure but basically they offered to buy him a flat and give him nearly 3.5 k a week 3/4 year deal. which is relatively small down there.
My brother turned it down as he thought he had more of a chance of first team progression up here even when he was getting 40 quid a week. Any way long story short my brother did his ACL , struggled majorly lost his head a bit and now no longer plays football. The moral of the story is? Take the wonga!

Ferguson is not the player i would be replacing Raskin with imo.
Rather Gilmour but that's a pipe dream.

I'm certainly not angry at Gilmour leaving when he did , I do get annoyed when people hold it up as some sort of failing by the club that we didn't keep him. The boy left for wages that Rangers couldn't offer him, its disappointing but understandable .
I actually like him but I just don't think he's kicked on the way I expected , he is good on the ball and shows some lovely touches but doesn't create much and is lightweight in midfield .
I'm not saying I wouldn't take him back at Rangers , I just think , like a few of the Scotland players he is overhyped and not as good as some make out .
