Whats everybodies feelings after Sunday re crowd. is a good thing there was no Tims in? Or would it have been better having some in to witness the hammering? With 51k Rangers fans on Sunday Ibrox was certainly rocking. Another fantastic tifo also 👍🇬🇧.

I am old to mind on the days we take 25k to the other place and did not see a lot of trouble it was also a reason i liked going to hampden the atmosphere it should be what footballs about.

Why is it everyone raves about a brilliant atmosphere then says let's change it to let them back in even though it's "Scotlands shame game" every time? Even listened to an English former owner say the game he went to without Celtic fans was the best atmosphere he'd ever experienced but still said we should change it.
Obviously it would be nice if they could behave but they can't. They begged to increase it and blew it so sorry but keep them out.

Football needs away fans. Works both ways I'm sure if you ask our players if they would rather have our fans supporting them on Sunday I bet every single one will say yes.
It's absolutely embarrassing that we can't come to a middle ground with them. Hopefully sorted out and have away fans back in the ground for the Ibrox new year game.

Seems some are forgetting we can't behave either, did our fans not enter the pitch as well when they didn't have to? It's absolutely ridiculous that law abiding fans from both sides can't go to a certain ground because absolute morons can't behave on both sides.

For those talking about the atmosphere with no Celtic fans there, it would have been the same had Celtic fans been there or not, we absolutely dominated them frim first whistle, won 3 nil as underdogs, would have been bouncing regardless.

Great atmosphere on Sunday, do we need them NO should we yes because I want our fans at their ground, you could fill a 120.000 stadium with fans and if policed correctly there would be no trouble around the grounds, we went decades in a lot more violent times.

To be honest, having away fans in the grounds is not worth the trouble it causes nowadays. It just brings negative headlines and trouble that we are better off avoiding. The lengths the clubs have to go to, to even get the away fans into the grounds safely is just not worth it.
If the clubs don't want away fans and the police can't cope with it, why bother.

I'm not saying our fans are any better. Could totally understand them not wanting us either. It was a great atmosphere anyway with no trouble, so why invite it when u know there will be trouble before during and after. It's sad and embarrassing but reality.

I think that the unsavoury element that pervades both sets of fans and causes the damage and trouble in both stadia will lead to a permanence where neither will be allowed in either stadium, tbh I'd be happy with that and I've been to Celtic Park many times with no problems.

Wishy it's not bitterness on my part certainly and I certainly wouldn't want to stop others from going if they wished, I said the minority in both sides will prevent it. For me personally it goes beyond passion, the atmosphere at times is vile at these games and rather than a rivalry there's a sheer hatred, for 90mins at least, and toxic atmosphere.
Or maybe that's just me 😂.

BB4 there is of course a difference at a football game, neither my old work colleagues, friends or in laws behave the way that the fans do at a match when we play each other. Something nasty seems to take over both sets of fans and at least for now they are better apart. Just my opinion.

You don't sit beside them at Ibrox or parkhead anyway, some sections of the crowd may sit near them but no one sits beside them so I don't see why that should be a problem, I for one would have loved to have seen them there on Sunday to see that battering they received from my seat on the other side of the stadium from them.

There's been one pitch invasion in 30 odd years. It was not policed properly. Don't punish 1000s of away going supporters due to a minority of idiots.
Your never going to stop offensive chants at football it happens in every country the full world over, no one self sabotages there biggest derbys though due to the actions of a few idiots.
This is going to have a negative effect on the players 100%. Every ex player speaks about how they need to find a solution, players want to experience the atmosphere and for that you need both sets of fans.

It's not about one incident in 30 years though Wishy. That was their opportunity to start coming back after being banned after years and years of dispicable behaviour, and that's how they responded. Not just invading the pitch but prematch breaking down doors attacking stewards and vandalsing the stadium. The fact also for years games have to be early kick offs shows they can't be trusted and they prove it time and again.
They even smashed up Hampden at a junior Cup final a few years ago and u expect them now to start behaving? Let alone all the trouble that kicks off post match when there's both sets of fans together. It's a sad embarrassing reality and a shame for good fans but they shouldn't be allowed back in and vice versa.

i stopped going to these games during the 80-90s. horrendous from both sets of fans, i was there with my 6 year old daughter at the time and the guy right next to her started with the vilest profanities you could imagine. we left after 15 mins and didn't go back to them until into the 2000s and at that time stopped going to away games anyway.
i for one am happy that they aren't there but it makes no great difference as we still sing the same crap as if they were there, in fact the same crap no matter who we are playing.
if i thought having no away fans woudl stop that then i would for one back that proposal but the sad truth is there are too many bigotted fans in football who likely don't even have an idea of what they are signing about and have no respect for our own players who i believe protestants are now minority in our team.

I used to work in the care industry supporting vulnerable adults. Got a gig at Ibrox supporting a client as a matchday steward. The client got to sit with the match photographer at the rear of the Broomloan. I got put in the food kiosk and toilet area and seen next to nothing of the game. Celtic fan approached me prior to kick off, looking for directions to his seat.
I didn't have a scooby, just made something up, anyway got to half time and bumped into the guy again, he went offf on one, as apparently i made him miss the first ten minutes, he also got lifted for being abusive, felt really bad at the time, but Mo Edu's goal at the end cheered me up.
