Thought, he had a decent game yesterday but for an unnecessary booking.
When u see his stats it might have been a bit better than decent.

They are the kind of games Devlin will excel in, when the game needs to be a battle. Games at Ibrox against the St Mirren, St Johnstones etc, we need a more forward thinking CM.

Devlin was brought in to play a certain role as a squad player, he done just that yesterday, thought he done well, fought and chased everything, fair play after the disappointing sending off.
Like another poster alluded to, games we want flair and creativity he won't be used as much but protecting a leaf d or in to shake up games he will be a great signing for us.

Cudos to McInnes for taking Drago out and playing Devlin. Devlin much more suited for this style of match. At Ibrox we'll see Drago.

I thought he was decent in first half. He was actually the one progressing the ball through the lines most.
Recoveries are all well and good, but at least 2/3 of those was when he had the ball took off of him and he then went and won the ball back, which is a positive off the back of a negative.
Think we need to give him credit when it's due. I want better players in there, but we can't just beat players like Devlin and Gassama up because we don't rate them when they aren't actually having horrendous games.

Borna, you're right. I'll also add that Drago is only 20 and needs to be protected, as he'll be inconsistent. Just need to make sure we protect him and manage him well.

Also for me Cammy Devlin needed in our midfield at Celtic Park to battle and help win the fight in there because we all know he'll battle like hell. 🥊 Of course he'll need to watch not go to over the top. 🤔🇬🇧

I don't rate Devlin, but I have to admit I thought he did what was needed yesterday. He made tackles, committed fouls when needed, and shielded the back four. Interesting, somebody said that a few times he had to go and win the ball back because he had given it away, that's the down side I suppose.
I think on his booking he thought the guy had the pace to run past him onto the ball, and though he was out wide, Devlin had no idea what was happening in the middle so he took one for the team, knowing that out that wide it wouldn't be deemed as a DOGSO.

Games against Celtic and Aberdeen will never be pretty. We need players such as Devlin for these games. In your face, non stop aggressive play. That's what he's there for. Appreciate his dig!

When Devlin was making that tackle, he never knew the Aberdeen player was going to take a bad touch. Don't have any problems with his decision, actually glad seeing it.

50% of winning ground duels for a player who's strength is supposedly breaking up play is pretty poor.
Though at 5ft nothing, winning 100% of aerial duels is astounding. 👏
