A nice we day off work, going a we drive through to st Andrews, go for a nice walks with the family and obviously (koba) the dog, finish it off with a we chippy, in one of the very best fish and chip shops in Scotland. Have a great day my fellow bears 😁

Enjoy bb4. Love St. Andrews. Especially with the dog on a Sunday. Walk him round the old course. He runs about like a big eejit.

Enjoy your family day, Boy Blue. 👍 I'm just back myself from a weekend getaway at the beautiful Killin at the Highland Lodges. 👌 Beautiful weather and scenery, and food outstanding. 👌 We also visited Kenmore, Aberfeldy and Pitlochry. 👍 Beautiful part of the country, and thoroughly enjoyed it. 👌

Been in Kenmore many times over the years, SWS. Used to go to the boat race, beautiful part of Scotland. I can remember one time a fella jumped off the bridge into the water. The water was only chest high once he stood up, and he jumped from a fair height.
I thought he would be in bother, but he was fine. Ended having a breather with him afterwards, he was a diver.
Finished both Kenmore and Killin.
Done a canyoning course in Aberfeldy when at school.

I would honestly stay permanently in Killin in a heartbeat. My star, 🤔 I love that wee picturesque village and you haven't too far to travel to Kenmore or the larger Aberfeldy and Pitlochry. 👌

SWS, I used to have a drink in the boozer in Killin, mate. My friend used to go out with a lassie from Killin.
I actually watched the Scotland vs Sweden game in the World Cup in 1990 in the Boar's Head, mate. Sawdust on the floor. That boozer was rocking when Mojo scored the winner. I was up for the boat race.

Newman, Broxburn's only a ten minute drive from me, loved the blue night after the band parade on the Friday, had some great nights back then. Stayed in a hostel in Aberfeldy when on the course. It was infested with midges. Others stayed in a girls' boarding home in Callander. I was robbed, mate.

Saying a hostel, it was a couple of large huts.
I always call it the boat race. That's what we all called it back then. It was a raft race. Should have seen some of the rafts though.

Copland, it has to be Anstruther fish bar, absolutely fantastic, mate, trust me.
Athole, I done that walk last time I was here, but we decided to do the coastal path in Anstruther. It's an idyllic walk, mate.
If you haven't done it, give it a go next time.
Swso, sounds fantastic, pal. Hope you had a great time. Me and the missus planning on doing something similar next week. Maybe do a little of NC500, as there's to be another heat wave next week.

Absolutely love St Andrews, Boyblue. Especially the golf courses. My biggest claim to fame is shooting 69 (playing off 4 handicap) on the Old Course when I was 21. God knows what I'd shoot today at the age of 69. 🤣

BB4 - You're right, Anstruther is a lovely coastal walk.
I'm a member at Crail Golfing Society, and that stretch of coast is stunning.
Copland - Jeanettas is a great shout for ice cream and milk shakes.
