If anyone offers over 15 million for Chermiti, Bite there hands off. The Serbian lad is a very good player indeed and a huge potential sale in years to come.

04 Jul 2026 19:29:27
If Chermiti leaves, it will be for a club record fee!

If he continues his progression, he will bag +25 league goals, become a full international and lead us to a title.

In that case, he leaves for a Scottish transfer record!

04 Jul 2026 19:36:46
Diawara looks likely.

04 Jul 2026 19:54:35
Major, Chermiti ain't getting sold for 15m, only player Rangers couldn't replace, not any player with his abilities is coming to Scotland.

04 Jul 2026 20:00:04
We can't replace 15 goals? Pretty sure we've had strikers that score more than that before and will again in the future. ?

04 Jul 2026 20:06:12
Any player can, will be replaced.

04 Jul 2026 20:07:22
Bigbluejim, you clearly know I am talking about Chermiti's ability. You'd get 15 goals from a decent cf.

04 Jul 2026 20:15:34
Boy blue, it's going to have to be an up and coming player replacing Chermiti then, because there's not a chance a player with his abilities is coming to Scotland, and we couldn't afford such a player anyway.

04 Jul 2026 20:30:48
So we spent roughly 9 million on Chermiti. He ended up with 15 goals, not even close to Dessers tally either season he was here. He had 7 goals by the end of February, didn't score in Europe, didn't help us to win anything, and some here think he's worth 25 million?? Based on what, one world class goal against Celtic and a volley against Falkirk in a final day dead rubber? Aye, the big teams are lining up 25-30 million for him.

If someone's willing to give us 10-15 or even a tiny bit more we should jump at it, and I don't buy for one second Rangers or Celtic couldn't find a better striker than Chermiti. In the past 5 years alone Morelos, Kyogo, Edouard were all superior to him.

04 Jul 2026 20:35:21
Jackboy, nope, just his capabilities for a younger player, soon be in the Portuguese squad, and only 22 years old.
Loved Morelos, but he's not even close to Chermiti's ability.

04 Jul 2026 20:38:22
Yes, because that's what he's worth. £30m plus a sell on before we even come to the table to talk.

04 Jul 2026 21:17:47
Agreed, star, got to keep Chermiti unless crazy money offered. Would need to get really lucky to replace him. Raskin and Fernandez be easier to replace and think both will be away.

04 Jul 2026 21:39:06
Dessers was in his prime. Chermiti's first real season in first-team football. It amazes me people can't differentiate between the two. Mivoski was signed as the Dessers' replacement, and Chermiti as the Igamane.
Why would you want to sell for 15m when we can and will get more? It's like our own fans want us to fail.

04 Jul 2026 22:17:10
His abilities as it stands are 15 goals in the SPFL and 15 goals in 41 games for Rangers in total.

04 Jul 2026 22:17:14
Just signed a striker from Hearts for hee haw, who scored more than Chermiti last season.
Pretty sure the much maligned Miovski, for a 1/4 the price of Chermiti, only scored about one less than Chermiti.
Pretty sure the even more maligned Dessers scored more than Chermiti.
No player is irreplaceable.
That's just nonsense.

04 Jul 2026 22:59:16
Chermiti's abilities bring more than goals, Bigbluejim.

04 Jul 2026 23:03:16
Sorry, I forgot his 5 assists, my bad, Star.

04 Jul 2026 23:07:13
That's enough for me then, Bigbluejim, deary dear man.

04 Jul 2026 23:43:48
That's the sum of his abilities, Star, no more no less.

Now, if he can beat that this season, then I'd agree his ability would be better. Only time will tell, but let's not overestimate someone just yet.

05 Jul 2026 01:16:30
We found Bassey, we found Igamane, we found Chermiti. Can be done again with the right scouting.
Mystar bbj is right, his ability as it stands is 15 goals, 5 assists mate. We could talk forever about what he brings to the team, but finished 3rd.

Of course all of that isn't on Chermiti, but if he had an incredible season, he could be forgiven, but he didn't mate, lbh. He showed flashes of brilliance, but to call him irreplaceable is bonkers.

05 Jul 2026 01:22:43
So wishy we spent 9 million on him but because it's his 1st full season we should wait how long to fulfil his potential? At that price we are looking for a ready made game changing, title winning striker- And I object to this notion any fan wants us to fail, utter garbage. I said I would take a profit of 6 million on an as yet unproven striker when I think that's more than he's worth based on what he's done so far and think we could get better than him, doesn't mean I want to sell, I'd be just as happy getting the money for Danilo and Miovski and buying another striker- noone will offer 30 million for Chermiti right now, not a chance.

05 Jul 2026 03:17:57
Btw, Mystar, I really like him mate, think he's got bags of potential, but it's potential that needs fulfilled. Hopefully if he stays we will see it this year, as last year he was a bit hit and miss, but was to be expected with him not playing much first team football.

05 Jul 2026 04:26:44
Chermiti is not going to any top league anytime soon, could not get into a poor Everton team.
Will be lucky to score 15 goals if he stays, we keep making all these allowances that he is young, he's 22, look at other top young players, they all break through long before that.

05 Jul 2026 10:22:51
I agree with My star regarding Chermiti. ? I honestly believe we have a very talented striker on our hands who's only going to get better and better for me. ? He has incredible ability and of course still a bit inconsistent as he's still a young player. ? He came to us having hardly played any football and had injury issues, so he hadn't completed a pre season and was always going to take at least half a season to get himself up to speed and settle in. ? So I'll judge him over the second half of the season at Rangers and he absolutely produced some class moments, and for me showed he's an extremely talented natural player. ? I truly expect, if and it's a big If we keep him for one more season with a proper pre season behind him, I truly believe Chermiti will be easily one of the best players in Scottish football if not the best and will absolutely be capable of tearing it up at Rangers this coming season and for me will score well over 20 goals.

? If he starts being consistent and scoring the tap ins/easier chances, god only knows how good a career this talented striker will have and it will be in one of the top leagues in Europe for a big club. ? As My star has stated, Chermiti will be a full Portugal international shortly and has thus far been capped with Portugal at every level. ? If anyone can't see this talent, I honestly don't know what they're watching. ? ??

05 Jul 2026 12:58:47
I'm watching the same unsuccessful Rangers as you are. I've been going for 40 years and have seen countless better strikers than that guy. I think we are so starved of success this past 15 years that our own standards have dropped, and we will cling to anything that we think will have us back on top. I watched him score 7 goals by February, and yes he improved from March onwards, but it's odd to me that Kevin Thelwell is the only guy (twice) who sees that outstanding talent.

Scouts are everywhere, and yet no one saw him as worth 9 million last year, but 15 goals in the Scottish League and he's suddenly worth 25 million? Get a grip. Someone might take a punt around the 15 million mark (which is the most he's worth) and we should take it. Has no one remembered knocking back the offer for Morelos then getting nothing for him when he lost form? There's every bit as much chance that happens as he kicks on.
